After Nana Raibina came forward to confess that she was the celebrity 'N.' mentioned in the news who had encouraged victims to invest, and admitted to owing hundreds of millions due to faulty financial services, which led to losing friends as she borrowed money from various people to fund her business.
Recently, Ning Panita —one of Nana’s friends but not part of the 'Angel Gang'—attended the 10th anniversary event of E-Jan at the NT Auditorium, Building 9, 2nd Floor, National Telecom Public Company. She gave an interview about the issue and sent encouragement to Nana to keep fighting. Ning said she learned about the news with everyone else and had some conversations with Nana but had no personal issues with her. Regarding DJ Dada, also a close friend of Nana, Ning said she hugged and encouraged Dada but did not ask many questions to avoid having her repeat the same things over and over.
Regarding the 'Angel Gang' news, since they are also close to Ning’s circle, was there any discussion about it?
“It wouldn’t be honest to say we didn’t talk at all. We did have some conversations. But in terms of details, I think on our side, there’s no problem. It’s more on the other side. We are aware and offer our support.”
Did you learn about the news at the same time as everyone on social media, or earlier?
“Well... I knew some things beforehand, but other details I learned from social media.”
Did any friends in the group invite you to invest?
“Honestly, I have to say that maybe because my own problems started about two years ago. Over the past two years, as everyone knows from the news, I have been dealing with serious family issues and fighting every day.”
“So I might not have paid much attention to these matters because I had my own daily struggles, which were big for me even if they might seem small to others. Between my family issues and my children, everyone knows how much effort I have put into my kids.”
“Therefore, I wasn’t involved in or attentive to these details. But if you ask if I heard about it, yes, I did. But I learned the details at the same time as the news broke.”
Do you know any details since this is a major scandal shaking the industry?
“I think my feelings are the same as everyone else’s.”
As friends, have you talked since the incident happened?
“Yes, we have talked. Nana told me what she said in her live stream, and she told me the same things she said there. I just told her to keep fighting.”
Many say celebrities often face situations like this. If you were in that position, what would you do?
“I don’t think this would happen to me, so I’m not sure how to respond if it did. I’m currently running my own business, but when I do work related to charity, I put my full effort into it.”
“However, when money is involved, I think carefully. I’ve been the family’s pillar since childhood and still am today, also as a mother. Every baht I spend comes from hard work and effort, so I have to think carefully before investing.”
There are reports that people close to you are also involved?
“I haven’t seen that news yet. But many of those mentioned in the news are friends who grew up together in the industry. Maybe that’s why they say 'people close to me,' because we’re all friends from the same circle. Honestly, I just learn from the news and social media feeds.”
After this happened, how did you talk to Nana and offer her support?
“Like I said, in our conversations, Nana told me the same things she said in her live stream. I just told her, ‘Keep fighting.’”
Have you talked with other friends in the group?
“You mean the others in the Angel Gang? I haven’t called to ask about the situation. This kind of matter isn’t something you just call up to ask about; it doesn’t seem very polite. But with Dada, it feels like some kind of karma or fate, as we already had projects planned to do live streams together before this news broke. So I worried people might think we’re exploiting the situation if we talk about it now, but our posts made that clear beforehand.”
DJ Dada has been quite upset and down. How did you encourage her?
“All I could do was hug her and tell her to keep fighting; she did her best. Dada is a positive-energy person like me. She doesn’t usually show sadness or pain, but once she’s off duty, she can be sad. I didn’t press her for details because I knew she’d have to repeat the same painful story to many people. Since she’s always in the media, hosting daily shows and meeting many people, I understand how she feels. When we met, we talked only about work, earning money, and keeping a positive vibe. Doing live streams is exhausting; recently, we did a six-hour live stream together. After that, she didn’t want to talk anymore. Before going live, we have to plan our strategy carefully.”
