Thanya Marks Auspicious Occasion with New Office Opening, Proudly Pays Off Home Debt Through Online Selling

Thanya Chatchaya The famous luk thung singer chose an auspicious day to hold a merit-making ceremony for her new office opening, fully honoring the revered grandfather spirit she respects. She opened up about her life journey, proudly sharing how becoming an online seller transformed her life, enabling her to pay off her home and car debts. Recently, she revealed, “At first, I didn’t have an office at all—just a warehouse to store goods. When I did live streams, it was hot and uncomfortable. I wanted a new place to shoot content because usually, I filmed at home or in the warehouse.”

“I wanted another place that truly felt like a workplace, somewhere I could get up in the morning and go to work. Home was just a place to sleep because sometimes working at home was inconvenient and separate from living space. Now that I have a child, the home has become his playground. So, I felt the need for a dedicated place. Also, I want to grow my channel, have live streams running all the time, and build a live streaming team. I’ve bought cameras and created a live streaming room. I also want a content team so we can shoot clips and send them for editing quickly. Before, I did everything myself with Alo—filming, editing, doing it all alone. Now that I’m doing so much more, I want to expand the team. Having a team means we need a proper workplace.”

“The new four-story building is newly constructed. Alo found the location, and when we saw it, it was beautiful, brand new, with parking and everything complete, so we decided immediately. We didn’t consider other options—when we found this place, we put down the deposit that day. I’m very happy. Of course, there was fear at first—fear about investing money and whether the investment would pay off or succeed. That fear was overwhelming, but ultimately it depends on our determination and how much effort we put in. Once we commit, we find the strength and grit to make it work.”

“I’m very proud, really proud. During the merit ceremony, I looked around and thought, ‘How did I manage to do this?’ Was it quick? Yes, it was fast—within one year. Last year was a year of growth, and this year, I’ve taken on more. But before last year, I faced many ups and downs to get here. I’ve fought hard. I believe people have about ten years in their life that change everything, and this might be my moment, my timing. I’m fighting harder than ever.”

“At first, I couldn’t sell anything. I kept trying, live streaming for 23 hours and only selling 2 or 3 items. I set a modest goal of just 3,000 baht a day, just enough to cover house and car payments and survive month to month. But I persevered, believing I could succeed. I held on tight and eventually, the fiber product grew last year, transforming my life. This year, there’s also the Heya hair brand gaining traction on TikTok.”

“I’m proud of myself for not giving up. This year, I’m launching a food line because I love spicy food and often film eating clips. In early June, I’ll release 'Khao Pun Jaew Khing,' a Laotian-style rice noodle dish. It’s the first in Thailand to offer this recipe under the brand 'Yanua.' When I go to Laos and eat this dish, my videos always get millions of views.”

“All my debts are now fully paid off. I’m earning money to live and pay my staff’s salaries. My home and car loans are completely settled, which feels very freeing. So, this year, I want to reward myself by doing what makes me happy. I’ve looked at every new housing project, with banks and sales agents calling me nonstop asking if I like this or that project. But I’m not ready to take on debt again. I told them if I had cash, I’d buy a home outright. For now, I’m pausing to enjoy a happy, relaxed life since I’ve spent my whole life paying off debts. It’s time to breathe easy and work happily without pressure. Do I have more monthly expenses now? Yes, more than before, because I have employees and a building with monthly payments.”
