Chulalongkorn Hospital Offers Free Walk-in Influenza Vaccinations for High-Risk Groups Starting 2 June

Chulalongkorn Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society, is concerned about the health of the public, especially during frequent weather changes. It has recently announced an invitation for high-risk individuals to receive services for influenza vaccination in 2026 to build immunity and reduce disease severity. The service is free of charge and allows walk-in visits without advance appointments.

Details of the influenza vaccination schedule and services

  • start from 2 June 2026 onward (or until vaccine supplies last).
  • Services are available Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 15:00 (with a lunch break).
  • The service is closed on public holidays and official holidays.
  • The service is free of charge! (Vaccines are limited in quantity).

Who qualifies as the "high-risk individuals" entitled to vaccination?

Those eligible for the 2026 annual influenza vaccination must belong to one of the following high-risk groups.

  1. Pregnant women at four months gestation or more (it is recommended to get vaccinated at their regular prenatal hospital).

  2. Children aged 6 months to 5 years.

  3. Seniors aged 65 years and older.

  4. Individuals with chronic diseases including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, heart disease, stroke, kidney failure, cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, and diabetes.

  5. Patients with thalassemia and those with immunodeficiency (including symptomatic HIV-infected individuals).

  6. Obese patientsweighing over 100 kilograms or with a body mass index (BMI) over 35 kg/m².

  7. Patients with brain disabilities who are unable to care for themselves.

Steps to receive services at Chulalongkorn Hospital

For convenience and efficiency, the hospital has clearly divided procedures according to age groups as follows.

For those aged 15 years and above:

  1. Use the registration kiosk with your ID card to receive a guide slip at Chakrapong Plaza.and thePor Por Ror Building, 2nd floor.

  2. Wait to be called for identity verification at the elevator hall on the 1st floor of the Por Por Ror Building, counter number 15.

  3. Proceed to receive the vaccine at the 18th floor of the Por Por Ror Building.

For those under 15 years old:

  1. Contact the nurse for symptom screening on the 1st floor of the Por Por Ror Building.

  2. See a doctor for a physical examination on the 11th floor of the Por Por Ror Building.

  3. Use the registration kiosk and verify identity at the elevator hall on the 1st floor of the Por Por Ror Building, counter number 15.

  4. Receive the vaccine at the 11th floor of the Por Por Ror Building.
