Harley-Davidson showcased two exclusive custom masterpiece motorcycles crafted by Thai artisans: the aggressively styled Road Glide Limited and the internationally distinguished Sportster S.
Harley-Davidson created an experience aligned with the The SiXnature concept by exhibiting authentic custom motorcycles from their true owners at the Bangkok Hot Rod Custom Show. Alongside the 2026 motorcycle lineup, fans had a unique opportunity to meet Gary Royal, an award-winning custom motorcycle designer, who shared insights on adapting the RIDE platform into personal riding styles.
A key highlight of the event was presenting Harley-Davidson’s custom culture, offering a platform where creativity, craftsmanship, and riders’ identities are expressed through custom motorcycles. This time, two custom motorcycles by Thai owners were displayed to reflect the vibrant spirit of Thailand’s riding culture.
The Road Glide Limited was customized by Nirandorn Simasrit, known as Godzilla. This Harley-Davidson Road Glide Limited is a high-performance touring motorcycle that elevates luxury touring to a fierce performance machine while maintaining refined craftsmanship. Inspired by the King of the Baggers racing culture, the bike features an Iron Horse Metallic color combined with black tones, conveying a mysterious, strong image filled with clear engineering details.
Performance upgrades include a stainless steel 2-into-1 exhaust with heat-colored welds, providing a sporty and agile feel. It is powered by the Milwaukee-Eight 117 VVT engine, balancing agility and power while preserving full touring comfort. The black-themed decorations, red accents, custom wheels, and distinctive Sharknose front fairing enhance its standout dark custom urban personality.
The specially designed seat and color-matched Tour-Pak deliver premium touring comfort. Beyond being a touring motorcycle, this Road Glide Limited embodies the spirit of a modern bagger inspired by racing circuits and built for true road performance.
The Sportster S was customized by Nitikorn Kuansanguan, also known as Joe. This motorcycle was created from a vision to be one of the most distinctive and unique custom Sportster S models of its era, combining meticulous craftsmanship, high performance, and specially designed and manufactured parts to showcase Thailand’s custom scene on the international stage.
Key features include a custom-designed CNC swingarm, an 18 x 9-inch rear wheel with a 250 tire, and a newly designed front end with dual disc brakes and a 19-inch custom wheel. It stands as one of the earliest custom Sportster S models of this kind. The bike is finished with exclusive paintwork and detailed decorations throughout, clearly reflecting the owner’s identity—cool simplicity, uniqueness, and a personality born to lead.
Both motorcycles emphasize the core brand message that Harley-Davidson is not just a riding vehicle but also a platform for riders to fully express their identity and style.
Harley-Davidson also welcomed Gary Royal, a renowned custom artist and founder of Beware Choppers USA, who enlivened the Harley-Davidson booth at the event. Known as an expert in American Chopper culture and a Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show award winner from Japan, Gary shared real-world perspectives on custom motorcycles and exchanged inspiration closely with the Thai custom builder community.
Gary Royal said he was deeply impressed by Thailand’s custom motorcycle scene. His own work is influenced by American Chopper culture, with Harley-Davidson as a key inspiration for expanding imagination and creating unique works.
Seeing Thai custom builders express their style and identity through Road Glide and Street Bob motorcycles reaffirmed that the spirit of building motorcycles that truly reflect personal identity can emerge anywhere. He feels honored to share this inspiration in Thailand and witness the new generation developing these ideas in their own way.
