Love is a topic everyone is interested in when it comes to card readings. I myself began reading cards because I wanted to read love cards for myself as well. This month, let's try reading the cards to explore 'What will help our close relationships become stronger?' Here, close relationships can be lovers, people you're talking to, married couples, as well as close family members and best friends.
If you're not currently in a relationship or interested in anyone, you might use the card messages as a guideline to connect with those around you. If you are in a serious relationship or married, consider reading to nurture the relationship further or gently care for any areas that feel stuck.
This time, I used two decks. The first is The Fountain Tarot, featuring a calm personality with oil paintings by artist Jonathan Saiz. The artwork reflects a process that requires time for layering, coloring, and adjusting patiently—unlike digital art—much like relationships, which we cannot control how they grow but can nurture and learn each other's rhythms gradually.
The other deck is the Lovers Oracle, featuring heart-shaped message cards by Toni Carmine Salerno, imbued with an intense atmosphere of love and spirituality.
An interesting point after revealing cards for all zodiac signs is that overall, the cards convey a return to appreciating the value accumulated together and recognizing that the foundation of the relationship still supports life, encouraging not to cling to emotions or thoughts that undermine morale.
This card reading does not provide a definitive answer for anyone deciding whether to continue or end a relationship, nor is it a prediction to judge or guarantee any future. It hopes to be a small supportive force helping you build a relationship that is strong, flexible, and balanced with both yourself and your loved ones, whatever your status. If anyone is suffering in love, may you gradually find hope on a path to care for yourself and refresh again. I encourage you to adapt the messages to your current life, and if any part causes worry, set it aside. Accepting the messages that feel right is enough.
The zodiac sign dates referenced in this column follow Thai astrological date counting. However, if you personally follow Western astrology, feel free to read based on either your sun sign or rising sign, whichever feels more comfortable or connected.
♈ Aries (13 Apr - 13 May): Growing on the freedom you give each other
(The Lovers - Knight of Wands - Do what feels right)
Along life's journey, each person grows and seeks what their heart desires. Allow each other to choose what feels true to themselves. Similarly, being together at this moment is a choice to learn about one another now. Whatever the future holds, trust your choices and cheer for the other's path as well!
⚡️What we might have overlooked or challenges
- Common ground in differences: The Lovers card represents couples and choice. Everyone is like different types of trees growing side by side. We may not be alike, hold different beliefs, yet choose to connect. Will you accept differences and find ways to tune in to each other while respecting and allowing freedom in each other's individuality?
復 Healing energy for worn parts of the relationship
- Fuel yourself first: Your relationship has the potential to progress and improve, but that starts with both parties having their own passion and energy in life. Share dreams and inspirations, invite each other to explore new opportunities, and encourage courage to try what you intend in this wider world. Energy will naturally be shared.
- Trust your feelings: 'Do what feels right' is the clear message from the card. You must dare to believe what you feel and follow your heart's clear voice. Don't hold back or shrink away due to fear. This will be a positive side effect in the future because as you grow inside, your relationship will grow too.
Summary: Seeing the person you love be brave and have dreams on their path is heartwarming. You can also choose to do what your heart desires. You both have dreams and independent paths. Be brave fully, then come back together at 'home.' Wishing you good luck in this stage of your relationship.
♉ Taurus (14 May - 13 Jun): Feel love with your heart
(4 of Cups - 10 of Pentacles - My Beloved)
Sometimes we may feel discouraged by other life factors beyond our control, tired of the situation yet unable to change much. When you feel drained, know that the support you have received and continue to receive in your relationships remains in your heart always.
⚡️What we might have overlooked or challenges
- Times when life feels stagnant: Someone sits in a dim corner with a glass of water to quench thirst but is so immersed they don't see the goodwill nearby. Your situation or that of someone close may resemble the 4 of Cups card. Fog may cloud your life, obscuring the clear view of love around you, which can happen to anyone.
復 Healing energy for worn parts of the relationship
- Believe in the family of the heart: The 10 of Pentacles symbolizes stable relationships and family built over time. The pentacles represent valuable things not easily eroded. It reflects that a strong relationship will always be there for you and your partner, not easily worn away by time or challenges.
- Hearts remain close even if bodies are apart: Some of you may be separated from loved ones, living in different places, lacking overlapping time, or have loved ones who passed away. Know that caring thoughts and heartfelt connections remain. Feel the support through what still stays with you—sounds, images sent, gifts received, or experiences that helped shape who you are today.
Summary: It's okay if you have moments when you prefer to sit quietly more than usual during this time. When you're ready, slowly open the window, look out at new life views, and turn back to those who have supported you all along. Always remember that love exists even if unseen by the eyes.
♊ Gemini (14 Jun - 14 Jul): Start anew by following your heart's voice
(2 of Swords - 1 of Wands - Only time will tell)
Are you currently facing an important decision about a relationship? For example, considering opening your heart to a new relationship or starting something new together? You might still be uncertain because you don't know how it will end or if it’s worth it. But if you stay too much in analytical mode about the future, your true inner answer may become unclear.
⚡️What we might have overlooked or challenges
- Try sitting with uncertainty: The 2 of Swords represents hesitation between choices with stalled thoughts causing everything to freeze. Tell yourself it’s okay if you can’t decide right now. Ease the pressure to rush decisions. When you relax, you can see the bigger picture better because your thoughts won't be tangled as before.
復 Healing energy for worn parts of the relationship
- Start something new by following your heart: Have you ever felt excitement to try something that suddenly arises inside, motivating you with energy to face challenges? Your decisions now don’t have to rely 100% on logic but should also listen to your inner desires. If your heart says you want to try, don’t extinguish that spirit. Trying won’t hurt.
- Let time reveal the outcome: We cannot know the future until we pass through and face what lies ahead in our choices. You are now at the start of a new path. So don’t worry about the future picture just yet. Step forward with hope and try once. You will be glad you took that step.
Summary: At this time, I want you to enjoy beginnings because the feeling of wanting to start something is precious and doesn’t happen every day. Stay present and nurture what you do. When that 'new thing' grows, you will get a clear answer to today’s questions without trying too hard.
♋ Cancer (15 Jul - 16 Aug): Celebrate naturalness
(10 of Cups - 10 of Pentacles - Balance)
You are someone who values relationships and wants to care for them beautifully and freshly. Your relationship space will expand if you allow it to welcome a variety of emotions—joy, sadness, boredom, frustration. A stable relationship will embrace all with understanding.
⚡️What we might have overlooked or challenges
- Don’t freeze the image of happiness: You don’t have to try to keep everyone’s happiness constant all the time. Remember, relationships aren’t static pictures. Trying to filter only happiness can become a barrier preventing natural growth of the relationship.
復 Healing energy for worn parts of the relationship
- Gradually build stability: Building stability means trusting that even during times when happiness lessens, challenges arise, or conflicts occur, support remains and does not disappear. Like the earth’s stability through time supporting diverse forest life without discrimination.
- Challenge growth sustainably: A stable relationship doesn’t mean always agreeing. Sometimes we need perspectives that encourage us to see beyond old habits or words that kindly admonish. You and your loved ones can be that for each other.
Summary: How sustainable a relationship is does not depend on special happiness created but on the 'natural space' for both yourself and each other. Whatever the emotional weather that day is, whether life is growing or slowing decline, you go through it together steadily.
♌ Leo (17 Aug - 16 Sep): Accept and trust to let things unfold
(3 of Swords - The Devil - Trust)
Trying to fix problems is a good intention, but if you focus and rush to get the desired results quickly, you might overlook some pain that needs to be heard. Another approach now is not to rush fixing everything but to stay with the pain with understanding, allowing wounds to heal.
⚡️What we might have overlooked or challenges
- Don’t overlook the pain: The 3 of Swords represents sadness, disappointment, and sharp heartache. Though no one likes pain, its benefit is it signals the true cause of problems. Take time to understand the real source of your or your partner’s pain. You can plan care better without constantly running from it.
復 Healing energy for worn parts of the relationship
- Dare to change old patterns: The Devil card hints that healing pain to its root may require courage to change beliefs, habits, or behavior patterns—such as avoiding serious talks, fearing abandonment, controlling too much, or fearing commitment. Mental health professionals may help you or your partner in some cases.
- Acceptance doesn’t mean giving up: If you or someone close is facing hardship, slowly allow space to acknowledge that problems and pain exist. Knowing that the other stands by you and gives time—even when situations aren’t resolved—often helps ease pain enough to see a way forward.
Summary: One of the best ways to move forward with yourself and your relationship is accepting the situation without trying to control it and trusting the process will unfold naturally. This is a form of courage you can always give yourself and your loved ones.
♍ Virgo (17 Sep - 16 Oct): See the value in imperfection
(The Hierophant - 9 of Cups - Look deep within your heart)
The more we care, the more we might become strict with ourselves or others. Take this opportunity to gently step out of rigid frames and share comfort with each other. You may find your relationship space is wide, flexible, and full of good energy.
⚡️What we might have overlooked or challenges
- Love isn’t a test: The Hierophant often represents teaching, tradition, and obedience to elders. But as a challenge, be careful not to apply this system too much to those close to you. Love isn’t about judging right or wrong, and we’re not teachers who know all the correct answers.
復 Healing energy for worn parts of the relationship
- Frequently share happiness: We can share good things even if the situation isn’t perfect as imagined. You don’t have to be more perfect or solve all your partner’s problems. Just be yourself and share small joys. A smile in that moment can already arise.
- Look back at the love received: Sometimes we focus on black spots on white paper, seeing flaws. Your heart will gain more strength if you switch to see the large white space. Recall the goodwill you’ve received over time. What joyful memories come to mind now?
Summary: If we are trees, love is the water nourishing our hearts. When water drips and seeps into the ground, it doesn’t mean it wasn’t there. Inside us lies a vast reservoir like a lake or ocean created by the love of those close to us, always nourishing. We just need to remember to see it.
♎ Libra (17 Oct - 15 Nov): Transition together
(Death - 2 of Cups - Your own reflection)
Love means moving through change, letting go of stubbornness or thick ego walls to learn from each other. Of course, these steps aren’t easy, but the good news is you will gradually peel away unnecessary layers until only the essence remains to help love continue.
⚡️What we might have overlooked or challenges
- Take transitions slowly: Life often gives tough challenges, but the Death card reflects that the darkest point often holds a threshold of light. We must be willing to walk through darkness first. We often fear moments when relationships stumble or seem frozen, but this can be a good turning point to learn important lessons about yourself and your partner.
復 Healing energy for worn parts of the relationship
- Regularly add love anew: You received the 2 of Cups symbolizing mutual hearts and understanding. In the relationships you recall and around you, love remains. During very challenging times, love is still there. Keep adding heart into each other's cups. It can be small kindnesses or anything showing you still care.
- Relationships reflect understanding: The cards invite you to notice that the good qualities your partner has, you also have. Likewise, when you see your partner as less lovable, you may also have unlovable sides. By learning from each other, you can be by each other's side with balance and equality.
Summary: A strong relationship isn’t one without waves or obstacles but one that transitions and grows together. The key is you learn about yourself, practice letting go of attachments to lighten your heart, and support each other until you find a fresh morning not far ahead.
♏ Scorpio (16 Nov - 15 Dec): Move forward slowly but steadily
(Knight of Pentacles - The World - Let go of resentment)
From your heart’s expectations, progress or change in the relationship might seem slow, causing disappointment. Pat yourself gently that it’s okay. If you calm down a bit, you’ll see good things hidden in every distant step you’ve taken.
⚡️What we might have overlooked or challenges
- Every step taken builds stability: Some routines may feel repetitive or boring, but each passing day has given you something valuable—whether from someone else or something you built relentlessly yourself. This is a treasure of time that will compound and not easily fade away.
復 Healing energy for worn parts of the relationship
- Step back to see the big picture: The World card shows a woman sitting on a globe, inviting you to step back and see the broader view. You or your relationship has weathered much, grown through many seasons as the world turns. Despite ups and downs, you’ve come through. The lessons along the way remain meaningful.
- Don’t judge the relationship through cloudy emotions: When covered by gloomy feelings, like a sky filled with rain clouds, you can’t see the true landscape. Wait for the rain to stop, then ask if you still want to carry an umbrella with this relationship. If yes, how will you proceed?
Summary: When emotional storms haven’t yet calmed, give it more time. Emotions, like weather, come and go and hint at how you feel. But don’t let fleeting feelings judge the value of the entire path you’ve traveled. Let impermanence and the past pass. Remember you can start fresh feelings at any moment on this long journey.
♐ Sagittarius (16 Dec - 13 Jan): Return to gentleness with yourself
(King of Pentacles - The Star - Look within yourself)
You seem to play many roles in life, being a source of stability and support for those around you. You’ve done well all along, but staying in those roles too long may lead you to think you must always help others, leaving little kindness for yourself.
⚡️What we might have overlooked or challenges
- Unconsciously demanding yourself to be strong: The King of Pentacles represents a person who always supports others emotionally and financially. But his weakness is rarely showing vulnerability or allowing himself to feel as he should, which over time distances him from his true feelings.
復 Healing energy for worn parts of the relationship
- Allow yourself to recharge: Try switching from being a supporter to being a normal person reconnecting with yourself. Rest your body and mind, ask yourself what you feel, where you’re tired, what healing you need, and if you want to share your feelings with someone. You can depend on others too.
- Check in with yourself: Refresh your relationship with yourself by reflecting on why you try so hard to be strong for others. Are there silent conditions you set for yourself? How do you feel if you allow yourself a break? Keep these answers as clues to adjust in the future.
Summary: Supporting each other is good, but don’t forget that stable ground includes water and plants that bring freshness. Don’t freeze yourself in certain roles until your heart dries. Rotate your energy by giving and receiving help. Both you and those around you will grow and flourish together.
♑ Capricorn (14 Jan - 12 Feb): Step out of your comfort zone and have fun together
(4 of Pentacles - King of Wands - Forgiveness)
Has your life led you to limit yourself to a narrow comfort zone just enough to feel safe? Is opening your heart to someone new or trying something new together a bit challenging? From now on, let’s slowly dissolve the walls built from fear.
⚡️What we might have overlooked or challenges
- Holding too tightly to the comfort zone: Everyone has their own refuge to return to, but if you spend too much time there, you won’t see how much the outside world has changed. The security you cling to too long becomes a chain preventing you from expanding your life’s boundaries.
復 Healing energy for worn parts of the relationship
- Fuel your courage: The King of Wands is a visionary leader who boldly faces life’s challenges, seeing opportunities and inspiring courage in others. This may be the right time for you to take a little more risk, step forward, and find you can leap higher than expected.
- Forgive the past, dare to dream of the future: Whatever made you cling to safety over everything else in the past, try looking back at the dreams you still have. Leave your refuge with new hope and start building it. Don’t block your imagination and hopes.
Summary: A bright sun may await you, but you’ll only find it when you put away your umbrella, step outside, and look up at the beautiful sky. Life is short and full of fun things to do together. A hint: If you hope to create work with those around you, if not now with courage, then when? : )
♒ Aquarius (13 Feb - 13 Mar): Freedom and clarity are the keys
(7 of Cups - Justice - Freedom)
Have you felt recently like you’re guessing each other’s thoughts? Unsure about choices or actions? Playing mind games can cause worry and drain energy, even if based on goodwill. Now is the time to bring yourself and the other to practice open communication!
⚡️What we might have overlooked or challenges
- Ambiguity and lack of clarity: The 7 of Cups shows confusion and assumptions without verifying reality, leading to misunderstandings or misjudgments about options. Sometimes, you’re unsure of what you truly want. Answering that for yourself first will help a lot.
復 Healing energy for worn parts of the relationship
- Fairness and directness always help: You received the Justice card, representing fairness. When confused about decisions, ask if you’ve fairly considered both yourself and the other. Allow time for honest explanations and listening. When both see reality clearly, things become easier.
- Allow yourself the freedom to decide: Honest and straightforward communication stems from giving yourself the freedom to choose. Otherwise, you become trapped in hesitation. Some true desires, if unspoken, make understanding difficult.
Summary: If you’ve wanted something in your relationship but weren’t sure if it’s possible or the direction it’s going, start by clarifying what you want. Don’t just hope silently without speaking out. Who knows, once clarity arises, you might find the other also wants you to have what you deserve.
♓ Pisces (14 Mar - 12 Apr): New possibilities await
(8 of Cups - 2 of Swords and Queen of Cups - Creating room for new opportunities)
It’s natural that relationships are affected by our current life mix. If stressed at work, bored with some aspects, or doubting yourself, you may need personal space to give yourself time and allow your partner to rest. After recharging, you’ll see your relationship with fresh eyes.
⚡️What we might have overlooked or challenges
- Accumulated exhaustion: The 8 of Cups represents someone wanting to leave an old space for openness because of long fatigue or discomfort. Your heart seeks new answers but remains unsure. Now might be time to bring yourself to a place with easier breathing, pause from some things, people, or work briefly to regain footing.
復 Healing energy for worn parts of the relationship
- Pause your mind for a moment: If you’ve been trying to find the 'right answer' but feel stuck, it’s time to stop overthinking and rushing decisions. Often, anxiety comes from pressure we put on ourselves when unable to think clearly. Slow your thoughts until your heart feels calm and at ease.
- Go with your feelings: Instead of focusing solely on finding answers for the future, listen to your current feelings. Be kind to yourself and those close to you to restore a relaxed atmosphere. You will then see more possibilities than the limited choices you had before.
Summary: No need to rush or worry excessively. You’ve been tired, confused, overwhelmed by thoughts causing worry. Tell yourself to let those thoughts go free. You have freedom to breathe deeply and then create new possibilities for yourself and your loved ones when your heart is no longer confined by old mental patterns.
