Arne Slot, Liverpool's manager, has made a decision after leading the team to a trophyless season.
Arne Slot, manager of the "Reds" Liverpool, promised that the team will return to winning trophies next season after going through a difficult period and many problems that led to no trophies this season.
Liverpool has lost 12 matches in the Premier League this season. Their last match will be at Anfield against Brentford on Sunday. In a recent interview, Slot said he will lead the team to win trophies again and believes that adding 1-2 players should be enough. He pointed out that this season the team faced injuries to key players and also suffered the tragic loss of Diogo Jota.
Slot said, "We will improve as a team because we went through a transition last summer, and those players are no longer with the team."
"That’s not just about them; it also includes the players we already have, who have a year of experience playing alongside these new players. So naturally, they will improve."
"Especially considering the number of minutes our new players missed. So if that doesn’t happen next season, it will immediately help us improve, and I think you don’t even need to look far at other Premier League teams."
"I think there are many things we can improve compared to this season, and one of those is definitely having players available. But another important thing is that we must perform better both defensively and offensively."
"We have to win more. We conceded too many goals because the teams that won the title this season showed how important playing without the ball is."
"And hopefully signing one or two players will help accelerate our development."
