Chatchu-on opens up for the first time ahead of her nearly half-year return to the Thai women's volleyball team at SEA V Cup 2026.
On 5 August 2026, Boom-Bim Chatchu-on Moksri, a key middle blocker of the Thai women's national volleyball team, gave her first interview before preparing to return to play after nearly six months in the BYD DMI 6th SEA V Cup 2026 Leg 2 in Chiang Mai, following a shoulder injury.
Boom-Bim Chatchu-on Moksri said, "This marks my return to the court after taking time to recover. It’s a positive moment to be playing volleyball again."
"I’ve watched the matches; everyone has played very well. Having me back is like adding another puzzle piece to strengthen the team."
Boom-Bim Chatchu-on Moksri’s comeback to the Thai women’s volleyball team comes at a crucial time. The goal for SEA V Cup 2026 Leg 2 is not only to defend the home title but also to prepare for the 2026 Asian Championship from 21-30 August in China, where the champion will automatically qualify for the 2028 Olympics.
Regarding her current condition and readiness, Boom-Bim revealed, "I’m nearly 100 percent recovered now but still need to adjust my timing with the setter and the team. I also need to reconnect fully with my body."
"I’d like to ask fans watching at home, as well as people in Chiang Mai and nearby provinces, to come support us a lot. We will give our best and bring happiness to all our fans."
