The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) organized the AgriBiz Global Pitch event to provide a platform to develop "Thai farmers" toward global markets
On 17 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), together with the Graduate School of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, held the AgriBiz Global Pitch: Thai Farmers’ Path to the Global Stage at the Kaset Thanakorn Conference Room, 24th floor, BAAC Headquarters. The event offered Thai agricultural and processed food entrepreneurs with potential a stage to present their business ideas and readiness to expand into foreign markets. Dr. Arada Mahamit, Dean of the Graduate School, served as the project advisor.
The project aims to prepare Thai agricultural entrepreneurs in product development, standards, branding, and trade negotiation skills to enter international trade platforms, focusing especially on Japan as a key target market. Fifteen agricultural and processed food entrepreneurs presented their business concepts at the event.
The event featured a distinguished panel of experts in international trade, export, and marketing, including Associate Professor Dr. Saowanee Thairungroj, advisor to the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce Council and former BAAC board member; Ms. Kaimuk Jungjaijarumas, Deputy Manager of BAAC; Ms. Wipawalee Wachanapinyoyo, President of the Thai Fruit and Vegetable Entrepreneurs Association; Mr. Weerayuth Kusolsongprom, Corporate Communications Director at KCG Corporation Limited; and Ms. Rapeerat Rajphet, Director of Customer Development for Institutions and Community Organizations.
Five selected entrepreneurs earned the opportunity to represent Thailand at the international food and beverage trade show FOODEX JAPAN 2026 in Tokyo, Japan. This platform is crucial for market entry, business networking, and advancing export opportunities, supported by BAAC. Congratulations to the five selected companies: 1. WQA World Associate Co., Ltd., 2. Cheewadi Products Co., Ltd., 3. Nualanan Ginger Food Co., Ltd., 4. N R Coconut Sugar Co., Ltd., and 5. Rai Thong Organics Farm Co., Ltd.
This project reflects the roles of BAAC and the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce in supporting Thai farmers and entrepreneurs across the value chain—from enhancing producer capabilities and product standards to connecting with global markets—to create stable income and sustainable growth for Thailand’s agricultural sector.
