On 11 February 2026, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening of the 46th National Future Farmers of Thailand conference under her royal patronage. Minister of Education Professor Dr. Narumon Pinyo Sinwattana reported and paid respects during the event, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Education Mr. Ong-art Wongprayoons, Permanent Secretary Mr. Suthep Kaengsantia, Secretary-General of the Vocational Education Commission Mr. Yotphon Wenukoset, senior executives, teachers, students, and attendees at Chachoengsao College of Agriculture and Technology, Khao Hin Son Subdistrict, Phanom Sarakham District, Chachoengsao Province.
Professor Dr. Narumon reported that all participants deeply appreciate the boundless royal grace shown by Her Royal Highness in personally presiding over this national academic conference today. The Future Farmers of Thailand under royal patronage received this honor on 6 November 2002 and has since continuously worked to develop vocational agricultural students by promoting agricultural technology, fostering creativity, and training skills for the benefit of the individuals and the country's agricultural sector.
Professor Dr. Narumon added that current agricultural environmental factors have changed significantly due to climate variability, water shortages, global market competition, and the need to transition toward sustainable agriculture. This conference aims to generate new knowledge, develop agricultural innovations, and strengthen collaborative networks so that students and Thai farmers can confidently face these challenges. The event also showcased successful projects by current and former organization members and included knowledge exchange activities with government and private sectors to provide participants with up-to-date academic knowledge for their future careers.
During the event, 25 individuals—including executive committee members, outstanding members, distinguished alumni, and representatives of outstanding Future Farmers units—were presented with commemorative plaques by royal command. Additionally, 130 members, advisors, contributors to the organization, and those who donated funds in royal honor received commemorative pins.
Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn expressed her delight in witnessing the progress, development, and achievements of Future Farmers members through agricultural contests, skill competitions, and recognition of students. Each time she attends, she observes that agricultural students demonstrate creativity, high capability, and present their work confidently, reflecting strong knowledge foundations, diligence, eagerness to learn, and the dedication of their teachers. She also meets alumni who have successfully applied their knowledge in their professions, which brings her great joy.
Furthermore, she encouraged all students to be diligent in their studies, continuously seeking additional knowledge both in and outside the classroom. She advised them to stay informed about agricultural-related information such as technology, market trends, consumer demands, and global temperature changes. Accumulating this knowledge will benefit them in their future careers, enabling them to build themselves, their families, and contribute to the development of their communities.
After the opening ceremony, Her Royal Highness proceeded to the front of the Sirinkiri Building, where she planted a Nontree tree, the provincial tree of Chachoengsao, and inaugurated the Sirinkiri Building to bring ongoing auspiciousness.
