Ministry of Agriculture Opens Registration for Royal Rice Seeds on Royal Ploughing Ceremony Day 2026

The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives opens registration to receive the 'Royal Rice Seeds' in celebration of the Royal Ploughing Ceremony and the First Rice Planting Ritual for 2026.

On 7 April 2026, the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives opened registration to receive royal rice seeds for the Royal Ploughing Ceremony and First Rice Planting Ritual 2026, which will take place on Wednesday, 13 May 2026, at the ceremony grounds at Sanam Luang.

Those interested can register to receive the royal rice seeds via the website https://rice.moac.go.th/ or by scanning the QR code from today until 30 April 2026.

Those who register to receive the royal rice seeds can collect their seed packets from 18 May to 16 June 2026 at the service points they registered, as follows:

• In Bangkok, seeds can be collected at the Rice Department office building, 1st floor, Kasetsart University, Bang Khen, Chatuchak District, Bangkok. Phone: 0 2561 3794.
• Outside Bangkok, seeds can be collected at the Provincial Agriculture Offices under the Department of Agricultural Extension.
