The event also includes an exhibition honoring the royal grace of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, “The Mother of Thai Silk.” She initiated and was dedicated to restoring and promoting the Thai sericulture profession. She recognized both the cultural and economic value of Thai silk, resulting in supplemental income for farmers and sustainable preservation of local wisdom.
