She is truly a talented young woman. Opal Suchata Chuangsi, Miss World 2025, recently attended the “Maha Songkran World Water Festival 2026” at Benjakitti Park. When reporters asked Opal to speak in English to invite people worldwide to enjoy this year's Songkran Festival, she spoke fluently, conveying the following message.
“On the occasion of today's press conference for the upcoming Maha Songkran Festival 2026 in Thailand, Songkran is considered the Thai New Year. Therefore, it holds great significance for us and is one of the most special times of the year, filled with fun, especially the nationwide water splashing activities.
This press conference is held to promote the event on 11 April at Benjakitti Park. We provide public transportation for everyone's convenience. The event proudly showcases Thailand’s unique identity in every aspect to the world, including art, culture, music, food, and drinks. Most importantly, safety is ensured with the support of the Thai police.
So, if you have the chance, I invite everyone from around the world to visit Thailand, our beloved country, and experience the most beautiful time of the year with us. The festival will take place throughout Bangkok and across Thailand from 11 to 15 April.
