Powerful and Stunning Namphueng Kantheera Crowned Miss World-Thailand 2026, Ready to Compete in Vietnam This September

Powerful and stunning, Namphueng Kantheera Techaphatthanakul won the Miss World-Thailand 2026 title as expected, demonstrating her versatile talents, sharp mindset, and outstanding charitable project that impressed pageant fans. She is set to take on the important role of representing Thailand at the 73rd Miss World pageant in Vietnam this September.

On Sunday, 10 May 2026 GMT+7, TPNGTERO, the organizer of Miss World-Thailand 2026 “The WORLD is TRUE” presented by TRUE 5G, held the grand final competition at MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan. The event was under the concept “Passing on inspiration and awakening meaningful potential to build a better world together.”


The event was honored by Julia Morley, Chairperson and CEO of the Miss World Organization, who attended in person to witness the selection of Thailand’s representative. Also present was the current Miss World, Opal Suchata Chuangsee, Miss World 2025, who appeared on stage to share energy and inspiration, congratulating the new crown holder who will lead the Beauty with a Purpose project to create positive social change.

The atmosphere before the event was vibrant with enthusiastic pageant fans cheering for the contestants. The show opened with a dazzling opening led by Opal Suchata alongside all 21 contestants, showcasing confidence and radiance that captivated the audience. Then, host Arm Korakarn Sutthikoset introduced the distinguished judging panel, including Oliver Kittipong Weeratecha, Head of Brand and Communications at True Corporation; Woralak Tulaporn, Chief Marketing Officer at The Mall Group; Thapana Klatlumbon, Chief Relationship Officer at V Square Clinic; Patchara Praphanwattana, Senior Managing Director of AssetWise Public Company; Rinnta Atchariyawatkul, Miss Thailand World 2015 and representative of Amorn Phuket Pearl; Arocha Kittiwittayakul, CEO of L&E Beyond; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ek Patthanakul, President of the Marketing Association of Thailand; Saran Tiprak, Lifestyle Influencer and Pageantry Expert; Sombatsorn Thirasaroch (Pa Tue), actress and host; Poompat Thamphan (Tao TV Pool), entertainment host; Thoran Chatchawanwong, celebrity fashion designer; Phansiri Siriwechpan, freelance fashion photographer; Ornapa Kritdee, personality and communication commentator; Mom Rajawongse Chalermchatri Yukol, independent series producer; Piyarath Kanjara, Vice Chairman of Creative at Kantana Group; Sirinya Bishop (Cindy), Miss Thailand World 1996, model, actress and host; Teetat Jungmaneerat (Thomas), artist and actor with DOMUNDI TV; along with Mae Pui Piyaporn Saengkosik, CEO of TPN Global, and Brian L. Margara, Managing Director of TERO Entertainment and TPNGTERO executives, all serving as witnesses.

Next was a special highlight that surprised the audience: popular artist Tah Wu Phithaya Saechua and DMD TRAINEES performed energetically during the swimsuit round alongside all 21 contestants, who showed off sharp runway skills, igniting the stage and eliciting roaring applause throughout MCC Hall. Then the contestants reappeared in stunning evening gowns, showcasing elegance to earn points from the judges.


The suspenseful moment came with the announcement of the top 12 finalists, which included five from the FAST TRACK rounds: Talent, Sports, Modeling, Head to Head Challenge (public speaking), and Multimedia communication skills. There were also two special awards: Miss Popular Vote and Miss E-Commerce. The remaining five finalists were selected by the judging panel.

Then, the 12 finalists presented speeches under the theme “Beauty With A Purpose,” reflecting their vision, inspiration, and the power of modern women. From these, five finalists were chosen for the question-and-answer round: MWT 13 Atina Konthornsaphan Vasnaachasakul, MWT 12 Malaika Kar, MWT 15 Namphueng Kantheera Techaphatthanakul, MWT 10 Benz Pannika Boonsiritakorn, and MWT 07 Kim Jirapatchar Datumma.

The emotional moment arrived with the announcement of the top three finalists who would answer final questions to compete for the crown. This was also a heartfelt farewell to Opal Suchata Chuangsee, Miss World-Thailand 2025, celebrating the historic achievement of Thailand winning the Miss World crown for the first time.

Then the historic moment came: the winner of the Miss World-Thailand 2026 crown was MWT 15 Namphueng Kantheera Techaphatthanakul. She received the Ocean Empress crown and earned the right to represent Thailand at the 73rd Miss World pageant in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, this September.

The first runner-up was MWT 12 Malaika Kar; second runner-up was MWT 07 Kim Jirapatchar Datumma; third runner-up was MWT 13 Atina Konthornsaphan Vasnaachasakul; and fourth runner-up was MWT 10 Pannika Boonsiritakorn.
