The issue has become hot for internet gossipers again as the beauty queen and singer Ning Patama Jitsawat Miss Grand Thailand 2026, prepares to file lawsuits against netizens who posted harsh comments and defamatory language.
Recently, Nawat Issara-Kraisil the big boss of Miss Grand and the manager of Miss Universe Thailand, attended the "Hello Universe MUT 2026" event at Calypso Bangkok, Asiatique The Riverfront, Warehouse 3, Charoen Krung Road. Reporters asked him about the matter.
Asked about Ning Patama's lawsuit against netizens?
"Oh, I haven't read them all yet. There are so many. Where did they get all this from? How many now? Oh, 41 people. That's already a large first batch. I asked Ning why it has to go on so much. She said she just wants to be clear about her case, so I agreed.
I'm not surprised at all. I haven't read all 41, but I know it's around 30 to 40. She told me she plans to sue another 30 to 40. I asked her why so many when I was abroad. She said the lawyer can save all the messages, so she doesn’t want to exclude anyone. I don’t know if there will be a third batch."
Were there harsh words?
"Yes, there were insults—terms like mistress, evil, and such. Well... if Ning wants to sue, she can."
Did she consult you at first?
"At first, I asked if she was serious because I wasn’t 100% in favor of constantly suing. I worried it would stress her out. But she said she’s not stressed and has help—a legal assistant and a personal lawyer, so she’s ready. I told her that if she’s ready, go ahead."
"Hopefully, some issues can be resolved. I hope those Ning sues can make amends for the damage they caused her."
Did anyone call to settle?
"Yes, some called crying, some asked to make amends. I think they will settle in court because there’s a process. Since these are criminal cases, before the judge investigates, parties meet to clear things up in court. That’s the next step. Those wanting to get out must talk then. Conditions might include admitting guilt, apologizing, posting apologies, or similar."
From your perspective, how do you want this to end?
"Honestly, Ning isn’t overly concerned about money or status. She just wants her dignity. Let this be a lesson that a Grand beauty queen fights back. So I want everyone to be careful. Criticism is fine, but don’t use language that legally counts as defamation."
"It’s not unusual to disagree or have opinions, but it’s important to learn what defamation means legally. If your words fall under that, the law will act. So don’t risk using defamatory language."
Does Ning aim to put them in jail, get money, or just settle?
"I think she wants an official apology so everyone knows the truth, just like when she posted publicly. That’s Ning’s clear objective. She wants them to admit she’s not like what they said, and there’s nothing to prove otherwise since she did everything, even swore an oath at Wat Phra Kaew. She’s gone through legal and spiritual means to prove her innocence. So don’t gang up on her with 40–50 people."
Spiritual means meaning she swore an oath?
"Whatever makes her feel at peace, I’m okay with. Go ahead and try.""Whoever hurt Ning, whoever defamed her, whichever family played against Ning, may misfortune befall their entire family."Ning said it and so it shall be. She means what she says. So... think carefully. Which family? (laughs) Be careful. Remember, karma could affect family members, children, parents—I don’t know."
"The truth never dies, and she insists this never happened. Ning said don’t threaten with clips—bring them out. She invites it. Right now she’s all in. Everyone fears Ning’s truth. Even ex-boyfriends quickly returned money and want to settle. So Ning’s pursuit shows her firm stance and proof she’s not afraid of anyone, any side."
"Also, people should speak politely. Don’t start trouble and then hurl vulgar insults. You can’t just throw around genital insults; be polite and mindful. Nowadays, some families lack self-control; don’t know what’s going on in Thai society. It’s just craziness. People insult each other live on air all day long. Husbands make, wives curse, wives curse, husbands make, round and round. It’s odd, but if it’s within the family, okay.""Beware, karma will catch up. The Emerald Buddha will break its neck.""Truly."
"Okay, if it’s related to Ning, post it. Anyone who threatens with evidence or audio clips, post them now. Ning says bring it on, quickly. Don’t threaten without proof. That’s all. Goodbye, I’m heading to the police station."
