Ton Khao revealed that his life began riding as a passenger on a motorcycle, going around singing on the streets in the rain. He was once overlooked and annoyed by those around him. He insists he has never forgotten his roots or left anyone behind because his grandmother always taught him about honesty and gratitude.
Regarding the viral attention on living in a van while running between jobs, he admitted there was both deliberate concept creation and necessity from taking overlapping gigs early in his career. Meanwhile, the song "Writing Dreams on the Wall," which became widely popular, came from his personal liking as a fan of Ratchanok Srilophan. To date, he has released two singles of his own: "From Ton Khao's Heart" and "I Like Luk Thung Songs."
Although there was drama about trying to imitate "Mae Phueng Phum Phuang Duangjan," he insisted he never intended to compare or copy her. He simply absorbed her influence since childhood because of his deep love and faith. Regarding school, though math was challenging, he kept fighting with help from friends and focused on activities he was good at to continue pursuing his dreams.
