"Nadech" updated on the wedding, which is about 2–3 months away now, and is 80% complete. The invitations and guest list are finalized. The remaining 20% involves site visits to adjust details suitable for guest reception. The venue in Khon Kaen is quite small. Some senior relatives from the Isan side and some of Yaya's senior relatives will travel there. It will be a fairly simple and quite small, very intimate, and relaxed event, possibly not inviting everyone.
The ceremony will include Bai Sri Su Kwan (a traditional blessing ritual), tying friendship and cotton wrist strings, receiving blessings from the Brahmin priest, and well-wishes from senior guests—those who have cared for us, family members, and friends who come to support us. The ceremony will be simple, ending in the morning followed by a meal, and then guests will disperse.
Regarding the attire, we just had a fitting and reviewed the designs. It's good as we want to highlight Isan and Thai identity as much as possible, trying to use natural materials extensively. We aim for a strong Isan style. For the ceremony details, a teacher will coordinate with the Brahmin priest to clarify what exactly needs to be done.
On the Norway side, preparations are underway. After Norway, everyone will return to Bangkok. The preparation has lasted almost the entire year, with a break of one to two months to rest, but not too long to lose the momentum or feeling.
I feel excited right now. She likes to prepare everything perfectly and as quickly as possible. For things beyond our control, we try to let go. Yaya is more relaxed, like needing to pack for tomorrow morning, but for things we cannot control, we tend to be uneasy and indecisive. However, actually, everything is manageable; it's all prepared. We are just waiting for that day.
The bachelor party for the groom's side has been held, chosen by me because we had to find an available date. Whoever could attend did, and those who couldn't, it's okay. I said I was free that day, so I asked P'Mark to handle it. The men's party was casual, fun, and social. From the pictures of Yaya and her friends, they had to keep up, so they had a photographer to capture the atmosphere. We are now selecting photos and waiting for the video editing to finish so we can share it. I'm not upset; their side is sweet and princess-like, very fitting.
