This saga seems far from over for Luk Mee Rasamee Thongsiripraisri and Poo Mantana Himathongkham Rewinding to 2024, the two were involved in a case over 2 million baht, which eventually led to numerous lawsuits. On 4 Mar 2026 GMT+7, the South Bangkok Criminal Court ruled, sentencing Poo Mantana to two years in prison for defaming Luk Mee Rasamee, fined 60,000 baht, with the prison term suspended for two years and one year of probation.
Most recently, on 5 Mar 2026 GMT+7, Luk Mee Rasamee held a press conference to speak openly for the first time. She said she was pleased with the verdict as she has never lent money as Poo alleged. She is not worried if Poo appeals, stating the evidence is clear and she is confident of winning at every court level. She added that if Poo does appeal, her side also has the right to appeal to have Poo imprisoned. She confirmed that nearly three years have passed since the matter began and she has yet to recover any money.
