Honestly, I’m not someone who likes posting drama or sad things on social media, but since I started raising Egg Toon, I kept updating on social media. Even when Egg Toon got sick, I had to keep sharing his condition online, which made it even more painful. When he passed away, it brought back memories of talking with the vet during his illness—when his leg hurt and was treated, and then when we found out he had leukemia and lymphoma. I had been preparing myself because Egg Toon was the first pet I ever had. I always knew that one day we'd have to part ways. I tried to care for him the best I could. From the start of his treatment until the end, it was just a little over a month together.
I want to keep this feeling—that once I had a cat who brought me happiness. Even now, watching videos makes me miss him. I admit I cried a lot, especially on the day I brought him home, when I was determined to do everything right. That day was truly hard. We were together for almost 4 years, but events like this make you grow up a lot. Now I still have one cat left and I’m not thinking of getting another yet. I want to thank everyone for all the support during this time. The encouragement really healed me. I might not have read all the comments, but I truly appreciate them.
