Ice confirmed that all the money in the box was handled according to instructions from Ball Chernyim.to be used forcovering all funeral expenses for Neng Mengjai.
The 32,000 baht remaining in the box was the final amount after Neng’s cremation. This box was brought by Ball to the second night of the funeral wake, designated for collecting donation envelopes and contributions to assist with funeral costs. Ball instructed that the money in the box be used to cover all expenses related to the funeral each night.
Ice included donations and contributions from the first night into this box, including items given directly to her and her family by relatives and friends of Neng. She placed all of these into the box and did not keep any for herself. All funeral expenses were paid from the money in the box, following Ball’s instructions. Ice strongly denied accusations of greed or misappropriation. Ice and her family kept clear accounts of all income and expenses. Ice is unaware if anyone else received donations or contributions without adding them to the box.
