After the passing of Ja Nongpanee's father, or Pradit Mahathai, the father of the female singer Ja Nongpanee Mahathai, Ja recalled a conversation with her father who had told her, “If I die, don’t cry excessively. You must keep your composure and do not prolong the funeral.” Ja Nongpanee's father passed away at the age of 68.
Following his passing, Ja Nongpanee arranged the funeral schedule for her father Pradit from 12 to 16 April 2026 at house number 83, Sa-wang-ha Subdistrict, Sa-wang-ha District, Ang Thong Province, with the following details:
On 12 April 2026 at 16:00, the water-pouring rite will take place; at 18:00, the Buddhist chanting ceremony will begin.
From 13 to 15 April 2026 at 18:00, Buddhist chanting ceremonies will be held.
On Thursday, 16 April 2026 at 16:00, the merit-making chant and cremation ceremony will take place.
