Mo Amina Opens Up About Reinvestigating Tangmo Nidas Case, Fully Supports Seeking Justice

The case of the actress's death has become a hot topic once again. Tangmo Nida or Tangmo Pattharida Patcharawirapong has recently been reopened for investigation. Reporters asked Mo Amina Phinit one of Tangmo's close friends, about the current developments.

Asked about the reopened Tangmo case?

"We're waiting to see. There is some evidence that I haven't seen myself, so I don't know exactly what the prosecutors have. I'm waiting alongside everyone else. But from what we've seen before, at least this might finally clarify what really happened. There must be surrounding evidence and people involved; I understand it's complicated.

But from the wounds I saw when we went to visit her at the forensic department of the Police Hospital, I could somewhat understand. Still, everything must follow the law. I don't have access; I can only share my personal thoughts. Everyone can have their own opinions.

Ultimately, I want to see where it ends. Then I can say, 'Oh, this is where they concluded.' I appreciate the officials working hard. They can investigate as many times as needed. I just want it to be as fair as possible."

Will the investigation or witnesses be reopened?

"I want it to be reopened, starting from the beginning. If the original evidence is still available, that’s good. I want to know too. I’m following it like everyone else. I wasn’t at the scene. I’m just a close friend who loves her, so I want to know what happened. I do ask around when I hear the case is reopened, and I ask others who have deeper access than me."

Are you involved in the case? Have the police called you for questioning?

"No, they haven't called me, and they wouldn’t, since I wasn’t at the scene and wasn’t among those who contacted her. I feel that even if they called me, I couldn’t help. I just follow the case and guess when I can, and watch when I can’t."

How do you feel about people saying the case is being stirred up during political or other issues?

"I think the case always resurfaces before the anniversary. It happens around this time. On one hand, I understand it might be because it’s the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th anniversary. On the other hand, I pray that it is truly reopened, that the truth is proven, and that the case is reset to zero."

How was the recent anniversary event at P’ A’s house?

"I think it was warm. It wasn’t a sad atmosphere. It was a time to share and talk about her—her heroic acts, what we talked about when we were with her. It was full of love and warmth. No one was crying; everyone was smiling and remembering her fondly when looking at her pictures."

Have you had moments where Tangmo appeared to anyone?

"For me personally, I have dreamed of her seven times now. Before, it was five times, right? Once when I was abroad, I dreamed she seemed like she wanted to come along. She was angry with me for going out. Whenever I make merit, I visit her at the church and do religious offerings and talk with people there."

I’ve dreamed seven times. That day when we talked, I said I didn’t regret anything except that before the incident, I had honestly talked with her, sitting over wine and discussing if we should take a Valentine’s photo together before GL came, the smaller Mo and bigger Mo. We talked about her life and I told her, 'Hey, if your life isn’t good, just tell me. I’ll handle it.' I said the same thing then: if she’s happy, she doesn’t have to think about me."

Luckily, I told her 'I really love you' that last time. So if there’s anything, she should tell me. Sometimes you don’t have to be strong all the time. It’s okay to be weak and let me fight for you. That was our last conversation that almost lasted an hour. We exchanged that we didn’t regret because I told her I loved her."

What would you like to say to her today?

"The same as always. If she can hear me, I’d say the same: I love her. If there’s anything, tell me. If it’s something bad, you don’t have to face it. You’re a leading actress. Just stay quiet (laughs). I’ll handle it."
