The incident shocked many, involving the family of Bua Sarochah, sister of Beam Kawee Tanjararuk. Recently, she posted a strong message after a stranger broke into her home late at night.
On the morning of 24 April 2026, she posted on her social media: “Last night was very long. Everyone in the house was scared because a stranger dressed all in black climbed into the house, so we had to call the police. When they searched his bag, they found a large soda bottle filled with kratom drink along with a pocket knife. The officers from Khok Kram Police Station arrived very quickly and immediately arrested the intruder. Thanks so much to all the officers.”
From this incident, as a mother of two, Bua said she has never approved of the sale or possession of any drugs, especially kratom leaves which are sold everywhere in the country. Is it right that children growing up can so easily access these substances? We were lucky no one was hurt, but now I flinch every time I hear a door open or close. I hope no one else has to experience this, and I strongly oppose the possession, sale, or use of any addictive substances.”
