Chingching Karittha Happy to Travel and Help Care for Niece Until She Recovers

From a high-energy woman working seven days straight for years, Chingching Karittha Sangsaopas, the leading actress from the drama “Man with a Heart of Diamond,” has recently switched to a freelance acting career, announcing she won’t renew her contract with Channel 7HD. She admits she’s taken fewer roles lately to live a more balanced life. Especially since she’s taken on the role of temporary nanny to help care for her little niece, Nong Raya, daughter of close friend Noey Papada. Every week they have activities to do—things she’s never done before—giving her a boost of energy. She also updated that after lung leak surgery, her condition has improved enough for her to fly, making her life happier. When asked if she works seven days a week now, she replied, “I shoot dramas Monday to Wednesday; the rest of the time I travel and stay with my niece, acting as Noey Papada’s daughter’s nanny.”Tags: Chingching Karittha, freelance actress, lung condition, child care, travel, Channel 7HD

You’ve started traveling a lot, haven’t you?Tags: travel, lifestyle change

“I travel every week. I find activities for every week. My niece is very energetic—when she sees her friends doing something, she wants to do it too. When she wants to go somewhere, she invites me to come along. It’s tiring, like having someone to share the workload. Recently we went to Hua Hin, saw the sea, and she swims after every meal. Her mom and I take turns in the pool all day—our arms are getting muscular. Actually, Noey and I usually just go out for coffee and then return; we’re not into activities or exercise, but my niece plays pickleball. It’s good because it pushes me to try things I never have before, thanks to her. She’s full of energy all day long. Sometimes when I stay at Noey’s house, I take her to school in the morning.”Tags: travel, niece care, family activities, Hua Hin, exercise

“We’ve been everywhere: Disneyland, Disney on Ice—we go. My niece finds activities for her mom and me every day. Normally, her mom and I are homebodies.”Tags: travel, family activities, Disneyland, Disney on Ice

It seems like your world has opened up to new experiences.Tags: personal growth, new experiences

“Yes, exactly. I want to be stronger so I can do activities with my niece. It’s like a power boost. Now I also sleep better, becoming an early sleeper because my niece wakes me up in the morning.”Tags: health improvement, sleep patterns, family influence

Does this make you want to have your own children, or is it better just to care for your niece?Tags: family planning, child care

“I’m focusing on caregiving for now. Whether I have children in the future, we’ll see. From my perspective, I want children someday, but I’m also worried about how society will be for them. That’s more concerning to me. Right now, caring for my niece makes me happy and wanting children. Noey tells me to practice by taking care of my niece first. Actually, we get help from others sometimes—grandparents help care for her, and sometimes my mom helps too. I don’t take many jobs on weekends because I spend time with my niece. It’s unclear who is caring for whom. When we eat, we have the same food—omelet rice or fried rice with mild seasoning, so we can eat together. I’m very happy to be able to fly again now because there was a time I couldn’t fly. Once the doctor allowed flying, we started traveling.”Tags: child care, family support, travel, personal feelings

Is your lung condition fully recovered now?Tags: health update, lung condition

“It’s better now. Some things I can’t do for life, like diving—the doctor forbids it because the wound hasn’t fully healed. The pleura and lung tissue are probably healed now. At first, they used a fire burn treatment. The first time I flew after was painful during takeoff. After 2–3 flights, it got better.”Tags: health update, lung surgery, medical advice
