"Permission to clarify as per the letter we have submitted to SKAT.
To the President and the Central Technical Subcommittee,
Subject: Explanation regarding allegations of engine cheating in the Cadet B category at the Super Kart Thailand Championship.
I am the team manager of DT Motorsport, the team responsible for servicing race car number 69 in the Cadet B category for 8-9 year olds, driven by boy Payu Rangsisingpipat. We were protested after the Final race and passed inspection, but were accused of cheating by using an unauthorized cylinder sleeve. I would like to clarify as follows.
1. Referencing Attachment 1: Superkart Thailand 2026 Technical Regulation,
1.1 Clause 14 specifies that in the Cadet B category, the engine used is the IAME X30 Water Swift 60cc according to Homologation Forms: 364H IAME X30 Water Swift 60cc with Tillotson HW-31A, attached as Attachment 2.
1.2 Clause 14.5 states that the relevant homologation forms, available on the Website, are an integral part of these Supplementary Regulations.Homologation Formsfound onthe websiteare considered supplementary to these technical regulations and are included in Attachment 2.
2. Referring to Attachment 2, which is the Homologation Forms for the X30 Water Swift 60cc engine, available for download fromtheIAME website and shared in the SuperKart Thailand Line group in May 2026 as shown in the attached images.
2.1 From these Homologation Forms, page 20 shows that the cylinder sleeve used by our team (sealed and submitted for further review) is authorized under this Homologation Forms set.
2.2 This document was publicly announced in the competition's official Line group.
3. Race car number 69 underwent inspection as scheduled on Sunday, successfully passed the inspection and engine sealing procedures, and after the race passed post-race inspection without any notification of irregularity or cheating.
We hereby submit this letter to the President and the Central Technical Subcommittee for their consideration, clarifying the rationale behind using the specified cylinder sleeve. The DT Motorsport team has no intention of gaining unfair advantage or cheating to win, as alleged. All actions strictly follow the Technical Regulation and the referenced Homologation Forms.
With highest respect,
Team Manager, DT Motorsport."
