Recently, he opened up about the incident, confirming he has spoken with the influencer and holds no resentment, seeing the situation as stemming mainly from admiration. Toh Phopthorn admitted that the news sparked strong reactions and attracted significant attention, which took him by surprise.
“I saw the views were very high; I was a bit surprised. We did have some conversation. The influencer came because they admire me, which is why they filmed the clip. But when the drama arose about filming right in front of my house, my wife spoke with them and asked if they could blur the house number a bit. Although people often film at our home, I don't want the exact location to be widely known.”
When asked if he was concerned about privacy and safety, the singer revealed that his only request was to blur the house number.
“That’s all I asked for. Ultimately, we're neighbors. If anything bothers us in the future, we'll talk it over directly. I don’t want this to become a big issue since our houses are close, and the influencer admires me and wanted to hire me to sing. It's not a bad situation.”
He also emphasized that he is not angry with the influencer and even sent supportive messages after seeing many people criticizing them.
“I understand. I only asked to blur the house number. I'm not angry. I messaged them, saying I saw many people criticizing them, but I told them I understand and am not upset.”
Regarding the planned singing engagement at the influencer's home, the singer said he was booked with other work that day and could not attend.
“I really had work that day, so I couldn’t go. Maybe I could stop by with a gift to welcome the new neighbor, but I couldn’t perform.”
Additionally, Toh Phopthorn mentioned that those interested in booking him can contact him directly through his social media channels.
“My contact number is on my social media page. Or if you see me outside and want to offer work, I can give you my manager’s number. No problem.”
Furthermore, the singer spoke about privacy as a public figure, acknowledging that working in entertainment naturally leads to fans approaching him, and he is always happy to make time for them in public.
“I think it depends on individual judgment. For me, working in the public eye means I’m always happy and have time for everyone. If someone wants a photo when we meet outside, I’m totally fine with it. Don’t worry about being scolded. I’m glad whenever someone comes up to me because they like me. It means I’m still able to work in this field.”
Toh Phopthorn reiterated that the issue is not a big deal and believes open communication will help all parties understand each other better. He only asks for respect for personal space and his family’s safety.
