Continuing to fight one more time for Kaembum Preeyada and Pete Kantaporn after many attempts to have a child without success. Recently, the couple opened up more about this issue.
What are your current plans regarding having a child?
"I'm doing my best to take care of myself. Today I just slept for 10 hours. Normally, if I have time, I sleep a lot. Rest is not a problem, though sometimes work gets in the way. I see that having a child involves high expenses. We can't rely solely on the man’s money. We have to have our own savings to take care of ourselves and the child. I don't want to be a burden to each other."
How is this egg retrieval round going?
"The number of eggs has increased from before by 1 to 2 times, reaching nearly 10. I feel very excited. The doctor advised me to maintain protein intake consistently over the past 2-3 months to prevent the body from shutting down the reproductive system. My physical condition has greatly improved. Although there are no embryos yet, the increased egg count gives me hope."
Any rewards or bonuses?
"Pete gives me rewards without me asking. Last time he gave me a bag as a gift because he knows I'm tired and in pain. For the last injection, I even asked him to give it to me so I could feel we are doing this together. Regarding sacred beliefs, I don’t dare to make specific requests because I fear that if I do, the child might be difficult or face problems, according to some beliefs. So I just pray normally, asking Buddha to open the way. If the child is meant to come, let him come willingly; if not, that's fine too. It’s all according to fate and science."
