Opal Suchata, Miss World 2025, Delighted by Warm Welcome from Vietnamese Pageant Fans, Prepares to Bid Farewell to Her Crown

The buzz continues around Opal Suchata holder of the title Miss World 2025, who recently returned to Thailand after flying to participate in the final round event in Vietnam.

Her visit was warmly welcomed by pageant fans in Vietnam in great numbers, accompanied by praise for her beauty, grace, and standout aura that became a hot topic online. Recently, Opal appeared at an event celebrating the Songkran Festival, dressed in traditional Thai attire and wearing her crown with elegance, drawing considerable attention from attendees. She also shared her impressions from attending the event in Vietnam, the host country for the important pageant round and the place where she will return to bid farewell to her title in a few months.

She revealed her feelings after attending the “Final Competition Miss World Vietnam 2025 / 26” in Vietnam, expressing how impressed she was by the warm reception from Vietnamese pageant fans. Opal admitted she is starting to feel bittersweet as the countdown to the final round on 5 September approaches. Nevertheless, she remains committed to giving her best every day to make the remaining time in her role as valuable as possible. Additionally, she is determined to continue her projects supporting medical personnel and patients, reflecting her desire to give back to society even after her reign ends.

“They were very kind to me throughout. I was happy to go for the first time yesterday, which was exciting. They are skilled in event production and the shows were excellent. I believe it will be a lot of fun. In a few months, it will be bittersweet as my duties will pass to someone new. I hope to do more in the remaining time so fans can see me wearing the crown more often, since after that I won’t wear it anymore. After I step down and return to Thailand permanently, I hope to have more opportunities to continue work benefiting medical personnel or patients, so they can benefit from our project's investment long-term. The first competition day was 9 August, and the final is on 5 September.”

Another joyful moment for her was returning to her hometown in Phuket after more than a year to spend time with family, meet relatives, and fully recharge. However, Opal shared that she wishes she could spend more time with her family despite her busy schedule as a global pageant queen.

“I just went down to Phuket, back for the first time in over a year. I wanted to stay a bit longer, to have meals with my father, friends, and relatives I hadn’t seen in a long time. We spent time together, mostly focusing on rest.”
