Krit Sripoomseth Shows Off Sculpted Physique, Returns to Film After 23 Years

It has become a major topic on social media when Krit Sripoomseth the well-known actor and host, posted photos showing his extremely fit physique, taken from the film "Morte Cucina (ครัวสาว)" directed by  Tom Pen-ek. This marks his return to the big screen after more than 23 years away from the film industry.

He revealed the reasons behind his decision to return to acting through his personal Instagram @kris_srepoomseth, also sharing the challenges of getting in shape, including losing up to 10 kilograms to perfectly embody his character.

"Five years ago, when I decided to study to become a Gelato Chef in Italy, I completely stopped all entertainment work and declined every offer to focus fully on becoming a chef.

But one day, someone named "Thongdee," a producer for Tom Pen-ek's film, contacted me asking me to star in Tom's movie and invited me to call back for details. I haven’t acted in many films since the first “Buppah Rahtree” — it’s been 23 years. When Thongdee explained the story, I was shocked because it was about cooking, which I was really passionate about at that time (thinking to myself, “Wow! This really connects the dots”).

I decided to take the role immediately and flew back to Thailand to film. Don’t forget to watch it; the exciting movie "Morte Cucina (ครัวสาว)" comes out next month. Thanks to Tom @penek69, Thongdee @185films_official, Bella @bellaboonsang, Peter, and the entire crew."

For my role, I had to gain and lose about 10 kilograms within a very short period of roughly a month and a half, which was very challenging. I want to thank Best for managing my diet and workout program @bestfitts. I remember when we worked out together alone in the gym during Songkran holidays — it was intense! One day, I will definitely return."
