It has become an annual tradition for fans of the legendary series "Hormones: The Series" to share memories to ease their nostalgia, especially this year marking the 13th anniversary exactly. The name “Pai Hormone” the breakthrough character of the young actor “Tor Thanapob” has gone viral again as netizens post side-by-side photos comparing his early career look with his current appearance, unanimously commenting that Tor looks so youthful it’s hard to believe 13 years have passed.
Recently, Tor opened up shyly about this after being teased for his iconic buzzcut schoolboy look, especially when fellow alumni like March Juthawut and Panpan Sutatta dressed up in school uniforms to bring back nostalgia for fans. He admitted feeling a bit embarrassed and said, “Let me think about it first,” a brief answer that left fans eagerly wondering if they might see an upgraded version of “P’Pai” to satisfy their longing.
Beyond the talk of his good looks, Tor shared his feelings about this work, saying he feels proud whenever people still remember this role because “Hormones” is proof of a classic that has traveled across eras and was a crucial first step in his acting career.
“Actually, when people mention Hormones, I think it proves its timelessness because even younger generations don’t see it as old. They still connect the characters to new stories. Although some details have been adjusted to fit the characters, what always stays with me is the nostalgia. I always think of the first steps we took together. It may not have been the first for many of the seniors, but for me, my first step in the industry was always with them.”
