Keyboard trolls were taken aback when Pong Navath clearly announced through the media that he plans to use the law to deal with those who posted abusive and harsh comments following a drama sparked by his opinions on football.
Previously, he posted a photo with Pol. Maj. Gen. Jaroonkiat Pankaew or Deputy Tao Deputy Commissioner of the Central Investigation Bureau, and a legal team after meeting them to seek advice on how to proceed legally against those who made defamatory and damaging comments.
Recently, he told the media that this decision aims to protect his rights after being attacked with comments more severe than normal criticism.
He also emphasized that he does not intend to pursue the case aggressively or seek severe penalties, but is willing to open the door for talks or mediation to meet the individuals who insulted him, so both sides can reach mutual understanding.
