Gypsy Keerati Shares Positive Update on PMDD Condition, Thanks Family and Husband for Support During Difficult Times

It's welcome news that has lifted the spirits of many fans, coming from the actress. Gypsy Keerati. Previously, she had announced a work hiatus to take time to care for herself and undergo treatment for PMDD symptoms or premenstrual dysphoric disorder, a severe mood disorder before menstruation with symptoms and severity varying by individual.

She had shared that the symptoms seriously affected her mental health, including periods of severe depression that led her to pause work and prioritize self-care, and after opening up about this, she received much encouragement from fans and netizens.

Recently, Gypsy returned to appear at an event as a brand ambassador, marking her official return to work and media appearances. She arrived looking beautiful, sexy, and radiant, amid a warm atmosphere as the team surprised her with an early birthday celebration ahead of her 39th birthday on 12 August, which delighted her greatly.

Gypsy also updated fans on her health, reassuring them that she is now taking care of both her physical and mental well-being. The good news is that her overall condition has greatly improved, allowing her doctor to reduce her medication dose, no longer requiring the previous amount. This latest treatment was less intense than the first time because she recognized symptoms early and resumed medication promptly instead of letting herself deteriorate.

She described warning signs indicating a relapse: behavioral changes, loss of appetite, withdrawal, and lack of joy in previously enjoyable activities—she, normally diligent, even struggled to get out of bed. Realizing this was not her normal self, she decided to see a doctor. During low periods, she rarely posted photos or used social media, sometimes sharing only sad posts. She admitted being brave enough to show her vulnerable side sometimes, noting that repeatedly seeing only one side of a person online isn’t healthy for viewers. Recovery involved medication, adjusting exercise to suit her mental state, practicing Buddhist teachings, and other healing methods.

She expressed gratitude to herself for overcoming difficult times and thanked her family and husband for their constant support and encouragement, which helped her get through the hardships once again.
