Tuk Mayura The veteran actress and presenter opened up on TikTok, sharing her hardship after her home in the Seri Thai area was flooded with water nearly reaching waist height, which left her and her household unable to leave the house for almost 5 days. She revealed her good fortune in receiving boxed meals from the Khan Na Yao District Office before directly responding to netizens questioning if she ate the distributed food.
The famous presenter explained about food, saying that after the flood made it impossible to leave the house, she could not go out to find or buy food as usual, so she had to rely on assistance from agencies and helpers in the affected area.
Amid this difficult situation, it was good news that the Khan Na Yao District Office, aware that residents nearby were still suffering, brought boxed meals to distribute to locals, including Tuk's family who were among the victims. This ensured everyone had food for another meal. Tuk expressed thanks on behalf of the community as many were still unable to leave the area.
However, after Tuk mentioned receiving food from the government agency, a netizen questioned, "Does Tuk really eat these boxed meals?" Tuk recorded a video to straightforwardly answer this doubt:
"Why? The food distributed—what's the problem? I'm not a deity or an angel from heaven. I eat it. Sorry, I'm not praising Khan Na Yao District for making delicious food, but there was rice, stir-fried chicken with chili and eggplant—I ate it. I want people to live in the real world."
She ended by sending encouragement to all victims, as she is in the same situation and understands well the feelings of those suffering. She offered her support for everyone to get through this time.
