M Studio and Plan B hosted the premiere of the thrilling action film "The Gunman," directed by Puttipong Nakthong, acclaimed for his intense works 4 Kings and Youth 2544. The film stars the fiery cast Laem Sompol Rungpanich, Fei Phat Eksangkul, Fah Sarika Sartsilpsupa, Ben Benjamin Joseph Varney, A Artakorn Boonpeng, Tui Arun Pavilai, and Aow Jirawat Wachirasaranphat.
The story centers on Phet, who wants to leave the path of being a hired gunman, but it proves more difficult than expected. Though love and friendship offer hope for a fresh start, debts of gratitude and revenge keep pulling him deeper into a dark world. The only way out for Phet is to grit his teeth and keep firing until the last bullet decides his fate.
The event transformed the activity area at Major Avenue Ratchayothin into an annual festival, bringing a wide entertainment fair for honored guests and media. The opening featured hosts Tao Somchai and Ja Natthaveeranut, who welcomed attendees and guided them through the event atmosphere, including a gunman-themed booth and various food stalls. Guests enjoyed a Ram Wong dance performance by the Kaewsri Phet troupe from Phetchaburi province, followed by an intense mood shift with the "The Gunman" movie trailer, and a show by lead actor Laem Sompol performing original soundtrack songs "Run from the Case" and "Your Dog," which he personally wrote for the film.
The time came to introduce the cast and director, who shared insights about their work on this project, inviting audiences to experience the difficult world of hitmen—an action thriller that also portrays the life of "humans in the shadows." The event concluded with remarks from executives, including Mr. Surachet Asawareung-anant, CEO of M Studio, and Ms. Phakwan Wongpoltawee, advisor to the CEO.
