Thirteen Studios has released the first images from "Scare Ruaw Movie: Parody of Famous Films," a comedy/horror parody directed by Jong-Banjong Sinthanamongkolkul. The initial images reveal lead actors Job-Thatchaphol Koo Wongbandit and Yiwa-Priyakan Jaikanta portraying scenes inspired by five famous films: "Lanmha," "The Drop," "Wiman Nam," "Youth 2544," and "4 King 2." The story follows their wild adventure to claim Grandma's inheritance and a durian orchard title deed, haunted by a dark army of ghosts that leads them to end up in prison full of fierce local criminals.
This fun project stems from the quirky idea of producer Kui-Taweewat Wanta, known for works like "Khun Krabi Phi Rabad," "Asujak," "Kindergarten of the Gangsters," "Attack: Spirit Number 13," "Tha Rae," and "The Drop" parts 1 and 2. He challenged director Jong-Banjong, who previously made two distinct films— the comedy "Wor... Crazy Dog Fun" and the horror "University of Horror"—to develop and expand the fun. The director combined his expertise in both comedy and horror genres to create "Scare Ruaw Movie: Parody of Famous Films."
