Twin Flame Company Limited held a press conference to launch the film project “Young Powdered Face Girl” episode “Karmic Deception” an ethical film promoting morality and anti-corruption, supported by the National Anti-Corruption Commission Fund (NACC Fund).
Regarding the film project “Young Powdered Face Girl” episode “Karmic Deception” this is directed by Kulchat Jitkajorwanich. The cast includes Boom Panadda, Pin Hathairat, Mek Jirakitt, Natcha NCS, along with many other actors.
“Karmic Deception” tells the story of a “female Muay Thai boxer who stands firmly for justice” who swaps bodies with a “corrupt top official.” Their lives are unexpectedly turned upside down, from fighting in the ring to confronting a vast corruption network. The heroine must use intelligence, courage, and traditional Muay Thai techniques to expose the truth and reclaim justice.
“Karmic Deception” is a film reflecting the consequences of corruption. Watch to see which will triumph: "corruption" or "justice."
Director Kulchat Jitkajorwanich explained the film’s origin: “The story involves body-swapping between corrupt politicians and officials and ordinary citizens, a female boxer. Many say, 'If I were rich and powerful, I wouldn’t behave like this.' But when in power, with opportunities, would you act differently? Since this is a government-themed film, we added action scenes to keep it engaging. The lead is a female boxer and a form of soft power. Besides opposing corruption, it showcases soft power by featuring Muay Thai techniques. We studied and worked with a specialized Muay Thai instructor.”
The director added the reason for casting Pin Hathairat as the lead: “She is a boxing influencer and has fought over 40 matches, recently winning a Lumpinee Stadium championship. We trained her intensively in acting and fight scenes. Female boxers like her are rare in films. Overall, she dedicated herself fully. The villains use martial arts from various fighting styles, but the heroine uses only Muay Thai.”
Regarding expectations for the film, the director said: “Sometimes the law cannot punish wrongdoing, but conscience holds heaven and hell inside. Don’t judge organizations as corrupt; the problem lies with individuals. At least it inspires people to do good or reflect on wrongdoing. I spoke with a teacher who helped rural children through non-formal education; one student ended up a principal inspired by a single Japanese film. Good inspiration often goes unnoticed and unreported. I believe this film will inspire goodness and disdain for corruption, which is valuable.”
Pin Hathairat Na Chiang Mai, a female boxer and influencer, shared: “I play Sin, a struggling boxer. The character is connected to Muay Thai, and this is my first action film. The heroine is not an idealized sweet figure but a real person with love, greed, anger, and delusion.”
She further revealed: “This is my first lead role and first feature film in the action genre. I feel excited and indescribably happy—it's a dream to see myself on the big screen.”
Regarding her performance, the director sent her to acting classes and additional fight training. Although she is a boxer, she lacked training in traditional Muay Chaiya, an old style. She worried more about acting than fighting. She gave her all and was truly hurt, with injuries around her abdomen from being dragged. Acting was deeply immersive—using eyes and words, sometimes conveying emotions silently. It opened a new world for me. It’s harder than boxing but fulfilling.”
