When estranged relatives return accompanied by evil ready to creep and threaten every family member, it announces the arrival of Thai horror at its world premiere at the 51st Toronto International Film Festival 2026 (TIFF) in Canada. This festival is one of the world's top five most influential film festivals, featuring the Centrepiece category showcasing the best international films worldwide from 10–20 September.
Shortly after releasing the first trailer, it caused a social media frenzy with the fierce first look of 'Grandma Woranat' and a chilling atmosphere from the very first second. The quality is guaranteed by Tong Banjong Pisanyakul, who serves as both producer and director, along with producer Tum Weerachai Yaiwong.
This marks an important acting showdown among four leading actresses: Mai Davika Horne as 'Grandma Woranat,' Baipo Thitiya Jirapornsilp as 'Ui,' Nok Sinjai Plengpanich as 'Sutadoung,' and Jui Waratya Nilkuha as 'Nun Saengboon,' supported by a talented cast delivering spine-tingling performances.
Adding to the surprise is the stunning image of Jui returning to the big screen after 8 years, having shaved her head to portray 'Nun Saengboon' with the most authentic and powerful presence.
