Tod-Nakrob Moolmanus serves as production designer, overseeing the entire production design direction. Tod-Nakrob Moolmanus said, "This film covers many eras, starting with sci-fi elements, spanning present and past times all the way back to the Ayutthaya period. All the scenes in Khun Chang Khun Phaen, the fantasy battlefields created by P’Muk, required the art team to interpret what the world’s tone and colors should be, keeping it somewhat realistic and grounded in the history we know. We aimed to present new images that let viewers connect with Thai culture in a fresh way P’Muk wanted to show. So we researched, set key visuals, designed scenes, and worked closely with the costume team to manage props to make the world feel real. It's quite a lengthy process. One challenge is how to make something old, repeated hundreds or thousands of times, appear new and still engage people. At the heart of Khun Chang Khun Phaen is human relationships, love rivalry, and heartbreak that moves everyone. We wanted to add the color of the present era to this emotional depth."
