Following the release of the Official Teaser that generated enthusiastic buzz and warm reception, GDH in collaboration with Sony Pictures International Productions has unveiled the first poster of the film. “HENRY’s First Dates: Dating Again, Henry Can't Remember” This romantic family comedy (Family Rom-Com) is adapted from the iconic love story 50 First Dates, reimagining the perspective so that Henry is the one who wakes up each day with his memory reset.
The first date is typically the most exciting moment in a relationship and a feeling experienced only once, but for Lucy, her first date is unique because the man she dates is named Henry, and she must make him fall in love with her again every single day.
The first poster reveals the chemistry between the lead couple. Nadech Kugimiya in the role of Henry, paired with Minnie Nitcha Yontararak as Lucy, along with a surprise appearance by Simba, an adorable capybara adding charm to the story. The cast is further strengthened by comedic talents Pa Kig Kiattisak Kijcharoen, Ble Pathumrach, and Vivian Thipakorn Chaiaprasit, who bring full comedic chaos. The film is directed by romantic comedy director Mes Tharathorn, known for 'I Fine..Thank You..Love You' and 'Aye..The Last Trickster,' produced by Wanwannarudee Pongsitthasak, the mind behind 'Friend Zone,' and co-produced by Mes Tharathorn and Sui Suwimon Techasupinan.
Producer Wanwannarudee said, “The origin of 'HENRY’s First Dates: Dating Again, Henry Can't Remember' comes from a longing to make a romantic comedy, which GDH hasn’t done in a while, and 50 First Dates is a beloved love story for us. We wanted to reinterpret the concept by switching the perspective from the original where the female lead loses her memory, to the male lead who wakes up forgetting everything every morning, with the female lead taking the initiative to woo him.”
“This creates a cute gimmick filled with both courage and shyness, making audiences eager to see how Lucy will win Henry’s heart again each day. Another important aspect we focused on is family, as having a member who resets their memory daily requires a lot of love and understanding from those around. Pa Kig, Ble, and Vivian help enrich and beautifully portray this part.”
