The event has been held continuously for 34 years, serving as a prestigious awards ceremony in the Thai film industry. "The 34th Suphannahong Awards for the Year 2025" Organized by the Federation of National Film Associations, with the Department of Cultural Promotion, Ministry of Culture (MoC) as an honored partner, the ceremony was broadcast on Amarin TV Channel 34. This year's concept was “ALCHEMY OF LIGHT – Where Light, Sound and Soul Become Cinema,” held on 23 August 2026 at Siam Pavalai Royal Grand Theatre, 6th Floor, Paragon Cineplex, Siam Paragon Shopping Center.
The event opened with a red carpet parade featuring directors and actors from various film studios, including Mai Davika Horne, Jee Sutthirak Subvijit, Boy Pakorn Chatborirak, Jackie Jacqueline Muench, Earn Earn Fatima, Fairy Kirana Pipithyakorn, Moss Phanuwat Sopradit, Usa Semkam, Ryu Ingkrat Damrongsakkul, Ar Anatpol Sirichumsang, P Ekaphop Tata, Most Wisarut Himarat, Oom Apasiri Nitiphon, Blaboom Wisarut Homhuan, Aum Wallop Rungkajard, and others.
Following this, the media and honored guests watched a tribute video commemorating late figures in the film industry. This year, the Federation of National Film Associations presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to Wisut Poolvoralaks. Best Supporting Actress went to Apasiri Nitiphon for "Ghost is Fine," and Best Supporting Actor was Pakorn Chatborirak for "Flat Girl: The Distance Between Us." The Best Special Effects award went to "Tiger" by Fat Cat Company Limited. Best Makeup Effects went to "Next Door," credited to Aporn Meebangyang, Yosita Limpapas, Waraporn Srisawat, Mina Jongpaiboon, Aimee Islam, Siriwit Jittapraphan, Wichayada Sangchote, and Chonnipa Khayan-ngan. Best Costume Design was awarded to "Ghost is Fine" by Peem Umarri, and Best Art Direction also went to "Ghost is Fine," credited to Rasiket Sukkarn.
Best Original Score was awarded to "Ghost is Fine" by Chaibaworn Srilukwa. Best Original Song went to "See You Somewhere" from "Red Envelope Ghost Wedding" by Atchariya Dulyapaiboon. Best Sound Recording and Mixing was awarded to "Ghost is Fine" by Lim Ting Li, Richard Hawks, and Sarawut Phanta. Best Editing went to "The Stone: Real Monk, Fake Man" by Theerawat Yailamyong. Best Cinematography was awarded to "Ghost is Fine" by Pasit Tandachanurat. Best Documentary Film went to "Chao Duang Duean" by Sun and Moon Productions Co., Ltd. Best Screenplay was awarded to "Ghost is Fine" by Ratchapoom Boonbunjachok. Best Thai Culture Promotion Film went to "The Stone: Real Monk, Fake Man" by Jangka Plus Studio Co., Ltd. and Carman Line Studio Co., Ltd.
Best Leading Actress was Mai Davika Horne for "Ghost is Fine," and Best Leading Actor was Jinjett Wattanasin for "The Stone: Real Monk, Fake Man." Best Director went to Ratchapoom Boonbunjachok for "Ghost is Fine," presented by Ranee Ittharat, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture. The highest-grossing Thai film of 2025 was "Thee Yod 3" from M Distribution Co., Ltd. and BEC World. The Best Film award went to "Ghost is Fine," produced by 185 Films Co., Ltd.
