The 34th Supannahong Awards, a long-standing and prestigious event in the Thai film industry, was organized by the Federation of National Film Associations. The ceremony was honored by participation from the Department of Cultural Promotion, Ministry of Culture, and broadcast live on Amarin TV Channel 34. This year's theme was “ALCHEMY OF LIGHT – Where Light, Sound and Soul Become Cinema.” The event took place on 23 August 2026 at the Siam Pavalai Royal Grand Theatre, 6th floor, Paragon Cineplex, Siam Paragon shopping center.
The event opened with a red carpet parade featuring directors and actors from various film studios attending in large numbers, including Mai Davika Horne, Jee Sutthirak Subwijit, Boy Pakorn Chatborirak, Jackie Shakeline Munch, Ern Ern Fatima, Fairy Kirana Pipithyakorn, Moss Phanuwat Sopradit, Usa Semkham, Ryu Ingkrat Damrongsakkul, Ar Anataphol Sirichumsaeng, P Ekaphop Tata, Most Wisarut Himrat, Oum Aparisiri Nitiphon, Blaboom Wisarut Homhuan, Oum Wallop Rungkamat, among others.
Afterward, the press and distinguished guests watched a video tribute honoring deceased figures in the film industry. The host then welcomed the guests and introduced a VTR showcasing all 53 Thai films nominated in 2025, including titles such as "Saeb Sanan Pun San Su," "Phano," "Chao Duang Duean," "Ai Por CEO M.6," "Flat Girl: The Distance Between Us," "The Snake’s Curse," "Hello Monday(s)," "Manee Mana: Friendship Among Friends," "Nak Banp," "Because Love Must Have," "Marry...Monk," "Mulu Na Kru," "Red Envelope Ghost," "The Legend of Phi Ta Khon Mask," "Halabala Lost Spirit Forest," "The Stone: Real or Fake," "4 Cemeteries," "Hero of the Village," "Cemetery of the Living," "Jenny Must Survive," "Luang Pi Jazz Ultra Fast," "Home Sweet Home: Rebirth," "Pee Wann Teaches," "Phra Ruang... This year, the Federation of National Film Associations presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to Wisut Poolvoralaks. The Best Supporting Actress award went to Aparisiri Nitiphon for "Ghost Is Usable," while the Best Supporting Actor award was given to Pakorn Chatborirak for "Flat Girl: The Distance Between Us." The Best Special Effects award was granted to "Tiger" by Fat Cat Company Limited. The Best Makeup Special Effects award was awarded to "Next Door" by Aparn Meebangyang, Yosita Limpapas, Waraporn Srisawat, Mina Jongpaiboon, Aimy Islam, Siriwit Jittapraphan, Wichayada Sangchoti, and Chonmniha Khayanngan. The Best Costume Design award went to "Ghost Is Usable," designed by Peem Umari. The Best Art Direction award was also for "Ghost Is Usable," by Rasiket Sukkan.
The Best Original Score was awarded to "Ghost Is Usable" composed by Chaibaworn Srilukhwa. The Best Original Song award went to “See You Somewhere” from "Red Envelope Ghost," performed by Ajariya Dulyapiboon. The Best Sound Recording and Mixing award was given to "Ghost Is Usable" by Lim Ting Li, Richard Hawks, and Sarawut Phantha. The Best Editing award was received by "The Stone: Real or Fake," edited by Theerawat Yailamyong. The Best Cinematography award went to "Ghost Is Usable," shot by Pasit Tandachanurat. The Best Documentary award was given to "Chao Duang Duean" produced by Sun and Moon Productions Company Limited. The Best Screenplay award was granted to "Ghost Is Usable" written by Ratchapoom Boonbanchachok. The Best Thai Cultural Promotion Film award went to "The Stone: Real or Fake" by Jangka Plus Studio Company Limited and Carman Line Studio Company Limited.
The Best Leading Actress award was presented to Mai Davika Horne for "Ghost Is Usable." Best Leading Actor was awarded to Jinjett Wattanasin for "The Stone: Real or Fake." Best Director went to Ratchapoom Boonbanchachok for "Ghost Is Usable," presented by Ranee Itarat, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture. The highest-grossing Thai film of 2025 was "Thee Yod 3," produced by M Distribution Company Limited and BEC World. The Best Picture award was given to "Ghost Is Usable," from 185 Films Company Limited, O Le Mang, Momo Film Co., Meyana Films, Cinema Twenty-Two, NEDS, Cliff Capital, and T Sixty-Six.
Following the awards, Ranee Itarat, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture; Chotika Akkharakitsophakul, Director-General of the Department of Cultural Promotion; Chamnarn Ngammaniudom, Deputy Manager of the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund; Jaitai Upkarnnitikeset, Director-General of the Information Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Thanakorn Pulivekin, Chairman of the Federation of National Film Associations; Pornchai Wongsriudomporn, Secretary-General of the Federation of National Film Associations; Wichai Kulthawatchai, Marketing Director of Major Group Public Company Limited; and all the award recipients gathered on stage for commemorative photos.
