
Chaiyangsaeng Adventure officially held the gala premiere of “HOPE” in Thailand, opening the door to Hope village and a new global sci-fi thriller that the world has been eagerly awaiting. This new work by Na Hong-jin, known for "The Wailing," was presented amid a grand atmosphere with filmmakers, directors, artists, actors, honored guests, and media from various fields joining this significant event. Leading the event were film director Banjong Pisanthanakun (Tong), Chayanon Phakthin (THAI), and Jinwook Kim (JINWOOK) from the band "BUS because of you i shine," along with Thanat Limpanyakul (PEEMTANAT) and Faris Klanan Attar (FARES) from "9214KIDS." The event took place at Infinity Hall, 5th floor, Paragon Cineplex, Siam Paragon, ahead of the film's release on 9 September.
The event recreated Hope village in the heart of Bangkok, signaling the first thrills through images of mysterious people and creatures, inviting attendees to confront the world of "HOPE." The host, Katanyu Suangsri, welcomed guests before a special talk with film director Banjong Pisanthanakun (Tong), who shared his experience working with world-renowned director Na Hong-jin. Then, Chaiwat Mingmai, CEO of Chaiyangsaeng Adventure Co., Ltd., spoke about bringing "HOPE" to Thailand as a major film project attracting global attention.
Next came an exclusive segment featuring Chayanon Phakthin (THAI) and Jinwook Kim (JINWOOK) from "BUS because of you i shine," together with Thanat Limpanyakul (PEEMTANAT) and Faris Klanan Attar (FARES) from "9214KIDS." They appeared to discuss "HOPE Through the Eyes of a New Generation," sharing their feelings and perspectives on the film from a young generation’s viewpoint. The session concluded with group photos led by Chaiwat Mingmai, CEO of Chaiyangsaeng Adventure Co., Ltd., Vichai Kulthawatchai, Marketing Director of Major Cineplex Group Public Company Limited, and other honored guests before the film screening began.
This event reinforced the strong momentum of “HOPE” as it arrives in Thailand following its debut at the Cannes Film Festival and its phenomenal success in South Korea with over one million viewers in under three days. It also garnered praise from leading global film media. The event highlighted Chaiyangsaeng Adventure’s commitment to selecting major international films to bring new experiences to Thai audiences.
Beyond immersing viewers in a world of imagination with stunning visuals, mysterious creatures, and elevated action scenes, “HOPE” features a star-studded cast from Korea and Hollywood, including Hwang Jung-min, Jo In-sung, Jung Ho-yeon, Uhm Moon-suk, Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, Taylor Russell, and Cameron Britton.
The discovery of a mystery in the suburbs marks the beginning of a nightmare as the townspeople struggle to survive against an unknown threat approaching a great disaster. Strange events start threatening a small village, and the search for the truth becomes the start of a crucial fight. "Hope" is the only thing left; different roles and decisions, but everyone faces the same fate.
The blockbuster sci-fi thriller “HOPE” will be released on 9 September in theaters across Thailand, available in IMAX, 4DX, Dolby Atmos, ScreenX, and standard formats.
