Film controversy, digital editing, actor objection, screening postponement, Mono Streaming, Taew Natapohn Temirak, Nakee 3, computer graphics manipulation, reputation damage, film production response

Regarding this matter, Taew Natapohn has submitted a formal letter of objection, refusing consent for the distribution of the edited scenes in the film. The letter reads as follows:

"Subject: Objection and refusal to permit the distribution of edited performance images in the film 'Garuda Nakee'.

To Mono Streaming Co., Ltd.

Reference: Actor engagement contract dated 12 November 2024 between Mono Streaming Co., Ltd.

as the employer and Me Rak 1 Co., Ltd. as the contractor.

Mono Streaming Co., Ltd. ("Employer") entered into the referenced contract with Me Rak 1 Co., Ltd. ("Company") for Ms. Natapohn Temirak, also known as Pornprapa, to perform in the film 'Garuda Nakee'. It has been found that the film includes digitally edited and altered images of Ms. Natapohn's performance using computer graphics techniques, making it appear as though she exposed her chest or upper body—something that did not actually happen during filming. These alterations cause humiliation, damage to reputation and dignity, contempt, hatred, and harm to the actress's image, as well as misleading the public into believing these scenes were genuine performances by Ms. Natapohn.

The Company and Ms. Natapohn hereby object and confirm that they never consented to the employer digitally edit performance images in any manner that causes humiliation or harms the actress's reputation, dignity, or personal rights. Therefore, the Company and Ms. Natapohn request the employer immediately suspend and stop distributing any images or scenes that have been edited or altered in such a manner, including removing or withholding those parts from the film and all distribution channels. If the employer ignores or violates this request, the Company and Ms. Natapohn reserve the right to pursue all civil and criminal legal actions and claim all related damages to the fullest extent.

This is to inform you for immediate action.

Respectfully, Ms. Natapohn Pornprapa, authorized director of Me Rak 1 Co., Ltd. and personally.

Meanwhile, Mono Streaming Co., Ltd. has issued a statement regarding this matter, saying that prior to filming, the role, scenes, and nature of editing using special effects were explained. The company conducted production in good faith within agreed terms and obtained consent from the actors and related parties before filming. They disagree with allegations of misconduct. However, upon receiving objections, they have listened and are urgently working to resolve concerns and minimize potential impacts. They decided to cut certain scenes and promotional images related to the issue. This decision reflects responsibility and consideration for the actors, not an admission of wrongdoing or liability.

The film "Nakee 3 Garuda Nakee" will postpone its screening from the original date of 22 October 2026 to 23 October 2026 to allow time to correct the controversial scenes before theatrical release.
