It became a hot topic when the leading actress Taew Natapohn Pornprapha submitted a formal objection against the screening of the film “Nakee 3: Garuda Nakee.” This was due to editing of her chest area or upper body, which did not actually occur during filming, before Mono Streaming Company Limited issued a letter acknowledging responsibility by fixing the problematic scenes and postponing the release from 22 Oct 2026 to 23 Oct 2026, sparking social media debate. Thairath Entertainment will introduce this film.
Regarding the film “Nakee 3: Garuda Nakee” (The Cursed War), it tells the story tracing back to the origins of forbidden love and faith, leading to a major war between the two clans, “Garuda” and “Naga,” which has lasted over 2,000 years.
Amid the war between the Garuda and the Nagas, a curse causes endless conflict between the clans. Forbidden love arises during the flames of war, as one worships Garuda and the other reveres Naga. They must choose between loyalty to their clans or joining forces to stop the war that threatens to destroy everything.
Starring the strong female general TaNeng Kanyawir leading the troops and readying her bow for battle, the film also explores themes of cross-lifetime vengeance and painful love, especially in emotionally charged dialogue between lead actors Kem Hasvee and TaNeng Kanyawir, who clash with promises, revenge, and unavoidable love.
This installment features a special gathering of top actors and the return of the beloved Nakee figure, Taew Natapohn Pornprapha, who shares the screen with Ken Phupoom Pongpanupak, along with a talented new generation of actors including TaNeng Kanyawir Sungmuang, and Kem Hasvee Phakphongpaisan,
joined by Toey Pongsakorn Mettarikanon, Tongneng Radklao Amradit, Cake Natthawat Kaewbuasai, and Wan Piralpach Leelathepint, who contribute to intensifying and perfectly crafting this epic war of honor.
Prepare for the new beginning of the “Nakee” universe along with the epic tale of love and war between two clans in “Nakee 3: Garuda Nakee” (The Cursed War), directed by Aof Pongpat Wachirabunjong, releasing in theaters on 23 Oct 2026.
