On 26 Oct 2026 GMT+7 at S.D Avenue Hotel, Pinklao: The Thai film industry was shaken again as O1PRIME film company held a press conference to launch their newest action movie "Joe: Wily Ruffian Mafia." Directed and produced by Dr. Tadsachon Pongpakawat, who personally took the helm, the event featured a big surprise: recruiting "Damp Datsakorn," a legendary iconic villain actor of Thai cinema, to join as a film consultant, enhancing the film's authentic mafia style, seasoned acting, and realism of Thailand's true mafia underworld.
A special highlight of this film is breaking all limits by recruiting tough youth representatives and influencers to join the team, targeting hardcore action movie fans and young audiences. The cast includes top-tier, well-established influencers with strong fan bases such as Rang Pranakorn, Earn Wat Yai, and L Oras, who transform into gritty, brutal, and intense characters, perfectly matching the tastes of young action movie enthusiasts. Additionally, the film introduces the charming new leading lady Ice Olivia (Nattanun Charuwattanakorn), who plays a key role in the power struggle storyline, engaging in emotional clashes and sharp conflicts with many skilled actors contributing to the film’s dramatic intensity.
"Joe: Wily Ruffian Mafia" is a film that boldly reveals and reflects the dark side of contemporary society, dissecting the gray-market empires hidden beneath society’s surface. In an era when many believe dark powers have faded, the film depicts recklessness, battles for control, interests, sharp rivalries between new-generation ruffians and seasoned mafia bosses, and survival in a lawless, rule-free underworld.
"Our aim is not just to create a typical action film about power struggles. 'Joe: Wily Ruffian Mafia' reflects the raw, emotional truths of modern society—covering youth, criminal acts, and the hidden gray networks within society. We are honored to have Damp Datsakorn helping to convey the signature of a legendary mafia figure, combined with the unique charm of all the influencers involved. This will make every action scene and sharp dialogue in this film fierce, intense, and thrilling, keeping audiences guessing until the end."
