WayV melts every beat of the heart with the special winter album ‘白色定格 (Eternal White)’.
This is their first new release in five months since their seventh mini-album ‘BIG BANDS’ came out in July. It is also WayV’s first special winter album, ‘白色定格 (Eternal White)’, consisting of seven songs that let listeners fully immerse in WayV’s diverse winter atmosphere.
Especially the title track, also called ‘白色定格 (Eternal White)’, which is a dance-pop song featuring saxophone riffs and powerful drum beats. It perfectly blends energetic rap rhythms with beautiful vocals to create a warm feeling. The lyrics express a strong determination to break through the frozen moments like a white winter and to keep moving forward without stopping. The music video shows WayV heading toward a moment of freedom where they can capture anything with a camera.
The camera is a key element in this music video. Additionally, the album includes the mid-tempo R&B song ‘初白 (First Time)’, which member KUN helped compose and arrange. The lyrics describe the excitement of a first meeting and the pure emotions of love. There's also the grand symphonic ballad ‘我之后的你 (Lover After Me)’, conveying sorrow and apologies when love ends, along with heartfelt wishes for the other’s happiness. The R&B track ‘第五个季节 (The Fifth Season)’ features deep melodies and a cappella arrangements.
It reveals sadness and longing during frozen moments. The English song ‘Stay’ has bass synths and R&B rhythms, showcasing WayV’s charming vocals with lyrics expressing sincerity and delicate feelings when getting closer. The dreamy R&B track ‘月光蚀刻 (Moment in Time)’ compares moonlight slowly seeping in to the lingering traces of feelings despite time passing. The R&B pop song ‘陌生的泪 (Strange Tears)’ stands out with lyrics describing moments of encountering an unfamiliar self amid confusion and personal growth.
Meanwhile, WayV successfully held their second full concert in Thailand, the 2025 WayV Concert Tour [NO Way OUT] in BANGKOK, on Saturday, 6 December 2025, at 18:00 at BITEC Live. They are preparing to conclude their ‘2025 WayV Concert Tour [NO Way OUT]’ grandly in Beijing on 14 December.
