808 Festival 2025 Explodes with 3 Days and Nights of Nonstop Fun! Audiences Flood In Globally Without Limits

808 Festival 2025 delivered an exhilarating and intense weekend at Thailand’s landmark EDM event, returning to create peak excitement at Bitec Bangna from 5–7 December. The lineup was packed across all generations, with production fully matching the festival’s reputation as ranked by DJ Mag among the world’s best dance music events. It remains Thailand’s top EDM festival, attracting attendees worldwide eager to join the limitless fun. This year also made waves by featuring the largest-ever number of underground DJs on the lineup, marking a new milestone for the local festival scene.

DAY 1 – The intensity kicked off from the very first second.

The opening night was powerfully launched by Ayrton L, Izecream, and Mr. Black, before handing over the energy to Juliet Fox and Meguru, who set a cool vibe for the evening. Highlights of the night included MaRLo and Maddix, whose high-energy shows kept the crowd roaring nonstop. The first day closed with a powerful set from Reinier Zonneveld, whose music and visuals shook the hall, becoming one of the most talked-about performances of the year.

DAY 2 – The strongest techno scene in years.

The following day saw a dramatic rise in intensity with Kanshriya, XIllIX, William Kiss, and Odd Mob, followed by UK Garage sounds from Sammy Virji. One of the most eye-catching shows was Dom Dolla, who ignited the hall with immense energy. Meanwhile, the Drumcode Stage featured heavy hitters like Heartbreakkidz x PVLMFCK, Di Sun, HNTR, Space 92, Massano, and culminated in a grand finale by the legendary Berlin duo PAN-POT.

DAY 3 – A grand finale worthy of a year-end climax. The Monstercat Stage exploded with fun from early evening featuring OOTORO, Inzo, and HABSTRAKT, closing with a wild, high-energy show by WUKI. The Main Stage was equally fiery, starting with a B2B set by Atta x Seesounds x J-Nana, followed by Netsky, Malaa’s Alter Ego, Lucas & Steve, and TRYM, before the event concluded with the techno queen Charlotte de Witte.

The power of Thai fans, 22 years of partnership, and authentic German sound continue through an interview with global techno duo Pan-Pot – Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix – after their powerful closing of the Drumcode Stage.

“Coming back to Thailand feels like coming home,” Tassilo said with a smile, explaining that every time they return, they feel warmly welcomed and at ease. The people here make them truly feel at home. He also noted how much the Thai electronic scene has grown, from small clubs to world-class festivals. Thomas added that the energy of Thai fans is always positive, making them feel comfortable every time they arrive.

Pan-Pot’s style: Between Raw, Peak-Time, and authentic German influences.

When asked about their musical style, Thomas laughed and said they sometimes still question themselves, "What exactly are we playing?" But to clarify, Pan-Pot’s sound sits between Raw Techno and Peak-Time Techno, with some Tech House mixed in. Tassilo added that anything with groove is fair game for them to play.

22 years as a duo—longer than many marriages.

Tassilo described their first 10 years working together as a period of "conflict," followed by 10 years as a "happy couple," and now like an elderly couple still living together. He sees being a duo as involving compromise, challenge, and mutual support. The best part is “you are never alone.” Thomas compared Pan-Pot to their “child” who has grown continuously and still requires ongoing care.

On stage, no fixed roles, but always fueling each other.

The pair explained they do not assign fixed roles during shows. Each prepares their own music and surprises the other live, making performances always fun—like a couple constantly renewing each other’s energy.

What Thai fans will see at 808 Festival: new music, the best performance, and 120% energy. When asked to sum up tonight’s show in three words, the duo answered: Energetic, Fun, and Groove.

Before ending the interview, Tassilo sincerely said they love their Thai fans deeply and hope to return as often as possible in the future. Thomas laughed and added, “He just said everything for us!”
