
The "Khonkaen Countdown 2026" event has concluded with grandeur, and the highlight most talked about among the Isan people was P-Saderd's show, which combined Thai and Western musical styles, featuring a special guest appearance by Ja Panom Yiram.
P-Saderd's performance opened with the Rattanakosin Khon dance, followed by his famous song "Jikko Nam Khao." Next came a version of "Jih Hoi" performed with traditional long drums, offering New Year blessings. This was followed by the songs "Lui He Lui" and "One More Round (Hanuman Bringing the Flag)" by Ja Panom, showcasing the strength of breakdancers and the Hanuman character. The show concluded with "Long Wat" and "King Taksin." Lasting over an hour, the performance brought joy fitting for a year-end celebration. Tourists, both Thai and foreign, attended in record numbers surpassing previous years, with hotels across Khon Kaen province reporting unprecedented international visitor attendance.
P-Saderd and Ja Panom Yiram shared their feelings and intentions about the Khonkaen Countdown 2026 event: “Because Thailand faced many difficulties last year and our people suffered from various crises, we want to send encouragement and strength to everyone to keep fighting into the New Year.”
