JOJI Rings in New Era with “LOVE YOU LESS” from PISS IN THE WIND, Set for 6 February Release

Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter and producer Joji begins the new year with his fresh single “LOVE YOU LESS” accompanied by new artwork. At the same time, he counts down to his fourth full album, Piss Is In The Wind, set for release on 6 February 2026 under Palace Creek.

“LOVE YOU LESS,” produced by Ricky Reed and Nate Mercereau, conveys the conflicted emotions in love that both repel and attract. Against a slowly building indie rock melody, Joji expresses longing through the thought, “If I loved you less, would you love me more?”

“LOVE YOU LESS” captures the essence of what Joji does best: crafting lyrics that reflect melancholy, a sentiment that deeply resonates with his fans.

With less than a month until release, Piss In The Wind is positioned as a bridge connecting Joji’s past and present musical styles, balancing his melancholic songwriting with bold, atmospheric production. Previous singles on the album reflect the diverse musical experiments spanning his decade-long career as an artist.

Last early autumn, Joji quietly released “PIXELATED KISSES,” his first new song since 2022’s SMITHEREENS, which earned double Platinum certification from the RIAA and included the hit “Glimpse of Us,” which topped Spotify Global 50 charts upon release. “PIXELATED KISSES” garnered tens of millions of streams worldwide within hours, immediately debuting on the Billboard Hot 100 and climbing the Billboard Top 200 and pop charts.

“If It Only Gets Better” evokes Joji’s roots in lo-fi style, blending acoustic guitar with syncopated bass and harmonious vocals. The track features a music video directed by James Mao, referencing the hit “YEAH RIGHT” from the BALLADS 1 album by balancing surreal party imagery with simple yet thought-provoking lyrics. Meanwhile, “Past Won’t Leave My Bed” is a powerful ballad echoing the emotions of “Glimpse of Us,” followed by an excellent remix of “PIXELATED KISSES” featuring a rap verse by Yeat, showcasing Joji’s impressive collaborative skills.

Joji’s singles from this album have accumulated over 150 million streams to date. Follow the latest news about Joji on his official website here.
