Fans were overjoyed as Techin Chayuti, the soft-voiced artist known for catchy hits, makes a comeback after 13 years to reclaim his throne as the king of love songs. His latest single breaks conventions with a music video fully created using AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology. As a special surprise, he features his beautiful wife, Yuan Chayuti, in her first role as lead actress alongside him, appearing elegant as if stepped out from a Chinese drama.
The new single "Is There Anything I Should Know?" maintains Techin’s signature gentle style with a Soft Pop / Chill Love Song vibe that is easy to listen to yet deeply moving. The lyrics express a painful (heartbroken) perspective on love through contemporary music. Techin closely supervised the production as co-producer with Promet Sanit, also known as Somnit. A key highlight is the use of AI technology to create a virtual world in the style of a "retro Chinese drama" for the music video, directed by AI image specialist Sam Natchawit (IG: samnutchawhich).
Techin Chayuti shared, "For this comeback, I wanted to do something special and different. I wrote both the lyrics and melody myself. It started as a casual songwriting before bed, but actually singing it was quite challenging. I aimed to give the single a more modern feel, so I enlisted my nieces and nephews, and my friend Kendo, the younger brother of Job Nithi, to help bring a youthful vibe to the music. Promet also helped polish the final production."
Regarding the music video, Techin said, "Working with Lin (my wife) was very heartwarming. We wanted to present visuals in a new way, so we chose to use AI to bring an imaginative world to life.
