After a long hiatus spent living and gathering experiences, TELEx TELEXs returns in 2026 with a new chapter in their musical journey, now as a more intense duo. Aom (lead vocals) and Naw (guitar) have teamed up to bring back the familiar sounds their fans love.
Although the band now consists of only two members, the spirit of friendship and their musical identity remain as strong as ever. This comeback is not a new beginning but a continuation of their path.
Over the past 7–8 years, TELEx TELEXs has immersed listeners in melancholic synth-pop sounds with songs like 1991-1993, Shibuya, and "Or Chan Eng Tee Khang Tur Wai Nai Kwarm Song Jum" (Or Myself Who Locked You in Memories), becoming like a friend beside many during important moments in life.
The new single was created to act as a “bridge” connecting past and present, reflecting the time the band was away while fans encountered new stories and people in their lives. When reunited, TELEx TELEXs' music remains a safe zone or “emotional refuge” where everyone can always return, conveying the important message that “we are still by each other's side and will move forward together.”
This return is not just about releasing new music but reaffirms the relationship between the artists and their fans, ensuring that the journey of TELEx TELEXs and their listeners will continue side by side.
